Angela's Housecleaning Service

The staff that come out did a top notch job. And were in and out pretty quick. There were some pretty nasty areas that were neglected way to long and they attacked them and made everything look fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good cleaning crew. They did not miss an inch.

Angelas cleaning service is outstanding. I initially had them deep clean my house in December. Now I have them come every two weeks.

I have made arrangements to use Angela's housecleaning service every two weeks from this day forward.  They vacuum, mop, dust, clean the refrigerator, clean our dog door and main windows and take out the garbage.  They were very accommodating, and handled the presence of our dogs -- no problem.

I have a big house and have used them for between 10 and 15 years. The experience has been really good.

I  first interviewed Angela several years ago, after a previous housekeeper quit.  Angela cam to the house to evaluate the tasks and size of our house and provided an estimate.   We've been using Angela's Housecleaning ever since.  She and her crew are conscientious and thorough.  Friends of mine have also hired her and been very satisfied.  She is also flexible and will do as much or as little as desired.

Angela brings some of her own supplies, but asks that you provide your own. She said she would bring two assistants and start at 10:00 am to finish around 5 or 6 pm; she showed up with one assistant. There is no doubt that these two worked vigorously, scrubbing, polishing, cleaning tubs and sinks and floors and carpets with a good deal of energy. EVERYTHING got shined -- even the bottles of olive oil on the stove top! After they left, however, my wife and I noticed a number of small problems ... (1) Although we had shown Angela our preference for denatured alcohol as a cleaner for our stainless stove hood (cuts grease, evaporates fast, leaves no streaks) she nonetheless used something else that left visible marks on the hood. Granted, she did point this out to us, but it wouldn't have happened had she listened. (2) Along with all that energetic scrubbing, one of them used a serious abrasive on the smooth plastic faceplate of our fridge. Not the effect we'd hoped for. (3) We had to spend a considerable amount of time reorganizing items that we keep on countertops and dressers -- Angela moves all of these and puts them back neatly but randomly. Our 36-jar spice rack, for instance, was originally alphabetically arranged ... but now, not so much. =D (4) Angela and her helper finished up nearer to 8pm than 6. Because they were running so late, I told them to ignore one of the larger rooms -- my office and library. This should have cut the price, I thought, but no. (As an aside, I notice in reading the reviews that Angela's prices are all over the lot -- her quotes appear to be somewhat random.) (5) The kicker; Next day we looked for the crevice tool for our vacuum cleaner. Gone. I called Angela who acknowledged immediately that she had it -- at first, if I penetrated her accent correctly, she said she had "borrowed" it because she was short one for her own use. A day or two later she came around to return it -- but this time she said her assistant had "mistakenly and accidentally" removed it. She seemed surprised when I told her we'd decided against using her for regular housecleaning, after all. While cleaning, she was pretty insistent that I remember to write a review for Angie's List. Well, here it is.

The quality of work is very good. They are not the best at showing up. They have showed up a few times hours past when they should without calling first to let me know.

Wow - they did a fabulous job - I was amazed at how great the area looks. They colorized all of my clothes, arranged everything according to length, also putting casual clothes and jeans in their own area, thoroughly cleaned the shelves and floor, etc. etc. She has a real talent for this! She would not name a price and said it was up to us to decide how much to pay her - so after them working a full 9 hours, we decided on a fair price. I highly recommend her services, not only cleaning, but organizing!

I have been happy with the work overall. Over time, some minor adjustments have been made and Angela is always very flexible about changes. She and her crew work very hard and do a good job. She feels free to make suggestions on things, such as furniture placement, when we got some new things recently. I have a lot of health issues and sometimes have to cancel on short notice but Angela has been flexible. Sometimes, especially on the phone, it can be hard to understand her because of her accent. However, she is very warm and caring and considerate.

SHE IS VERY PLEASANT AND EASY TO WORK WITH. SOMETIMES SHE MISSES APPOINTMENTS BUT RESCHEDULES WITHIN A DAY OR TWO. SHE IS ALSO FLEXIBLE IN HER SCHEDULING. IF I DO NOT WANT HER TO COME OUT ON HER REGULAR DAY I CAN EASILY RESCHEDULE.

They arrived 1 hr. and 20 min. late with no call to advise. They take cash only! No receipt was provided! They did not clean the stove oven, behind and under refrigerator, light fixtures, carpets. They did not do some of the walls of spider webs, baseboards, doors, including the tops, ceiling fans, showers, faucets, and furniture. I called, and they came back 2 days later to do what they had missed.

Angela and her two assistants did a great job - they were very thorough and meticulous!

She was running late and called to let me know. She even went out to get a better cleaning agent to get rid of the grease in my kitchen.

Angela came for an initial visit. She stated that on her first visit she does a complete floor to ceiling cleaning that normally takes the entire day. She came with one other person, and was done in a little over two hours. When I saw the end result, it did not look much different than when she first started. She and the other person with her also chatted loudly quite a bit throughout the cleaning process. I believe she is overpriced for her quality of work. I have had several other cleaners in the past that are much more thorough and reasonably priced than her.

She was here and cleaned for six hours and did a wonderful, wonderful job. Now she is going to come every two weeks to do this. Wonderful woman. Two people clean our home.

ANGELA IS VERY NICE, POLITE, EFFICIENT AND A GOOD CLEANER. SHE HAS CLEANED OUR 2100 SQ. FT HOME TWICE, AND I AM PLEASED WITH HER WORK. SHE IS RELIABLE, AND I TRUST HER IN MY HOME. SHE USES YOUR CLEANING PRODUCTS AND RECOMMENDS CLEANING PRODUCTS FOR SPECIAL SERVICES. I AM HAVING HER CLEAN WEEKLY. HER CHARGES ARE REASONABLE. I HAVE PREVIOUSLY HAD TEAMS CLEAN IN MY HOME, BUT ANGELA DOES A GREAT JOB AND I NEED SOMEONE I CAN TRUST. I AM HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND HER.

ANGELA IS ALWAYS ON TIME. SHE TENDS TO WORK EXTREMELY QUICKLY, BUT SEEMS VERY THOROUGH AT THE SAME TIME. OCCASSIONALLY BRINGS SOMEONE WITH HER TO HELP.
