I don’t know, pricing wise, there are vets lesser expensive. They are definitely timely, professional, kind, nice. I think the pricing is more like around the C range.

Excellent service at a reasonable price.

They got us in the same day. There was not a long wait at all. They were very professional and did great with my animal. They were really good, I really like them, I've been using them for years.

We've always been really happy with them. However, I don't know if the boarding facility is on there, and that we are extremely unhappy with. Everything is very good.

It was great. The veterinaries are very knowledgeable. They handle the animals with care. I've been taking my pets there for 6 years.

They got her right in. Ran a lot of tests. Kept her under observation for a few hours. Lots of speculation but unable to pinpoint cause or resolution. Found a few extra problems. After getting a second opinion of our dogs original problem, our dog is vestibular.

I've used them for almost 6 years. I'd give them all "A's". I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

It is a full service veterinarian hospital. They have veterinarian doctors there. The staff seems very pleasant, helpful and very professional. My experience with them has been positive. The last time it was expensive; it was a little more than regular checkup because my cat had a urinary problem.

I take my dog in every 2 months and will continue to do so.

I called in the day before and was able to get an appointment. I requested to see Dr. Jacquie Allgire, DVM, certified in Acupuncture. She practices natural healing as well as conventional medicine. Very beautiful woman on the inside as well as the outside. My cat has had been scratching her ears off and on for months. Previous treatments with conventional meds from another vet did not work. I had been using herbal treatments off and on with minor success. For the first visit we did a 15 minute acupuncture treatment and we were sent home with Probiotic pills to add to her food. We are to follow up in 2 to 4 weeks for another treatment. The office staff were great, and I could not have asked for any better treatment. Their office hours are fantastic, especially for working people. Open even on Sunday. Thanks to everyone making it a calm visit.

I spent about $500 in 2007 and about $300 or $400 the last visit there. I like that they have extended hours and that they are open on Sundays and late every day. I think I took the cat in on a Sunday and the other vets were not open. It is a pretty standard clinic. They would not be my first choice but if I had to I would use them.

Their price was about average. I found them to be a little high. We have to wait sometimes. They have quite a professional office. We would use their services again in the future.

I was keeping my son's American bulldog temporarily and wanted to have his teeth cleaned & see if he was okay.His breath was so bad and he had been sneezing a lot and I thought he might be allergic to Phoenix. The Vet checked him over and said he was good but pointed out a tumor that needed surgery and said the allergy symptoms were part of having the tumor. He also said he should have the surgery for the tumor before having his teeth cleaned. My son chose to have his dog's surgery performed in San Diego where he lives, so I didn't have any reason to return to Alta Vista. They were very professional. The office was very clean. I didn't wait very long. In fact I took the dog in the same day that I called. The vet said it wouldn't hurt to wait a month for the surgery which was how long it would be before he would be returned to my son in San Diego.

The staff were all very nice and helpful. When I dropped her off, they were very good about answering all of my nervous questions and explaining what would happen. They called me when she went into surgery and when she was in recovery. The doctor also called to tell me specifics and to let me know she wanted to give her extra pain medicine and keep her longer since she (my dog) seemed to be painful and uncomfortable. The doctor wanted to make sure my dog was okay before sending her home. When I did pick her up, the technician was very thorough about aftercare and what to do for her. He made sure I understood about how to keep the area clean and what medications to give, and when, before I left.

They are close to where we live. They are very connected to your animal.

They have been very responsive. A few weeks ago she had an injury, and they were able to get her right in and were very kind in dealing with her. When I took her in when she was injured, it cost about $67.00.

We don t like them because they are constantly trying to administer expensive procedures for our pets that are not necessary. They weren't even going to write a prescription for the heart worm medication because we wanted to take it home and order it on line. I think they are ridiculous.

We have taken several pets to Alta Vista Veterinary Hospital, both for regular visits and a couple of infections or injuries. They always pt both our pets and us at ease and know just how to properly care for the animals. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and I recommend them.

The veterinarian did a good job and it turned out that nothing was wrong. They had to give my cat a sedative and I just felt like they could have given me some kind of warning that he wouldn't be fully alert for a couple of hours.

We took him in for a teeth cleaning and they diagnosed him with kidney failure which we did not want to believe because he had been a healthy dog. We took him to another vet that had actually misdiagnosed him with a bad back. They were correct and they were very caring.

THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY WITH BOTH PEOPLE AND ANIMALS. I DROPPED MY CAT OFF THE NIGHT BEFORE, AND THE DOCTOR CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY DURING THE PROCEDURE TO GET MY OK BEFORE REMOVING ONE OF MY CAT'S CANINES SINCE SOME OWNERS ARE SENSITIVE TO THIS. THE DOCTOR CALLED WHEN THE PROCEDURE WAS OVER TO LET ME KNOW I COULD PICK HER UP AND TO GIVE ME MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE SURGERY ITSELF. WHEN I PICKED MY CAT UP, THE VET TECH GAVE ME GOOD INSTRUCTIONS ON WHAT TO DO WITH THE HOME CARE ITEMS. THE VET CALLED A FEW DAYS LATER TO CHECK THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOING WELL AFTER THE SURGERY. THEY ARE VERY CARING. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE FOR CAT OWNERS IS THAT THEIR FACILITY CAN BE QUITE NOISY WITH BARKING DOGS SINCE THEY OFFER BOARDING. I THINK THE CHARGES WERE REASONABLE CONSIDERING THE WORK DONE, AND THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE BEFORE THE WORK WAS DONE THAT WAS REALLY CLOSE TO ACTUAL CHARGES.
