STIL TRYING TO GET INFORMATION FROM CPA'S OFFICE - NO RESPONSE

My accountant sold his practice to this CPA, so I opted to use them for 2007 returns. Whoa, what a mistake. Things started out OK. I received tips newsletter on how to save on taxes that was very useful. The first of the year I received a packet with Q&A sheets from CPA. I returned packet with nearly all information required to complete return by early March. I submitted last remaining single K-1 two days before tax returns were due. My previous preparer would have everything ready and plug in final K-1 and efile/print returns by 15th. This preparer said, they couldn't do this, and they would filed an extension. I waited 2 weeks for the CPA to return from vacation and asked when I could have my returns. One of the CPA assistants said they were still waiting for my information. I was confused. I reiterated that I gave everything to them. They continued to argue and then deferred to check with main CPA. I called back several days later and was told returns would be done in a week. I called back in a week and got the argument that I hadn't submitted everything again, along with vague excuses. I left message with main CPA to give me status. No reply. After about 6 weeks calling, getting promise completion dates and them failing, I threatened to pickup my information and have someone else prepare the return. Within a week of this threat, I received my business return. Hooray, except it had various simple errors. After various reviews/edits I finally signed off on the return. Then several weeks pasted and I got my personal return. It had errors. Finally I got all returns and they efiled them. Starting in March, the process took 5 months. I couldn't recommend this group to anyone. I pray I don't get audited!
