I am very disappointed in this vendor. I went to Angie's List to find a service provider that could get my security camera's working at my house. Seemed simple enough. A person shows up and does manage to get the security camera's working but the one camera in the back yard needed to be replaced with the same type of camera's that were in the front of the house. The service person took pictures of the camera as well as the type and said it should be no problem to order a replacement. A month went by and I never heard a thing. I called there number and explained the situation but the receptionist answering the phone acting like she didn't have a clue ever though she was looking at the last service record. Finally, I told her to speak with the tech that did the work because he has all the info. Well weeks go by and I here nothing. Finally one morning while I'm running errands, I get a call from my wife that the tech is on his way to replace the camera that I had requested. This is the first I heard from them, but I figured what the heck at least they plan to do the job. Of course it is a whole different tech and he doesn't have a clue what the first guy did or what I wanted other than he has the new camera. I told him where he could find the camera that needed replaced and could start since I would be about 30 minutes behind him. When I get there, he has a new camera but it is not the camera I had requested and the extension arm to go with it looked like crap. I told him I didn't want this camera and to put my original camera back on which he did. Additionally, the security camera's quit working about a week prior to this tech showing up. I asked him if he could take a look at the problem. Remember, I already paid to have this fixed by the first tech. Anyway, this tech claims he should of made the DVR a static address and that should fix the problem. He did this and everything was working fine when he left. Well, it wasn't more than a week after he left that they quit working. Secondly, I follow up with this company about the wrong camera being sent and they seem to be clue less on the whole thing. At that point I said enough is enough and told them I would live with the original camera. Well low and behold they send me a bill for $170.00 which included the cost of removing my old camera and reinstalling it when I told them he didn't have the correct camera. I explained why should I pay for their mistakes. It was like talking to someone that didn't have a clue. I asked to speak with the manager or owner, someone other than the person that answers the phone and was told he would call me back. I never got the call. I felt obligated to cover the cost for the static address being added to my DVR although I couldn't view the camera's a week after the tech left. I sent a check for $100 to cover that cost figuring they would think they were lucking to receive any money. Not the case. I received an invoice today with not only the remaining charges of $70 but they have tacked on a late fee of $5.00. Needless to say I am very frustrated with this company. I will tell you both techs that came to my house were professional and did a decent job. Although the last guy didn't solve the problem I felt he was on the right track by adding a static address to the DVR. Why it doesn't work is still a mystery. The bottom line is this company has a real communication problem between their techs and the people that work in the office. I would not use them for any services due to that reason.
