I must admit that I was a little worried when my home warranty company proposed A Quality Electric to inspect two faulty ceiling fans since most of the vendors suggested by my warranty company have been average at best. However, I could not be happier with the responsiveness and quality of work from A Quality Electric. Nathan called to schedule the appt within an hour. Dave came out within a day or two, quickly diagnosing the problem. After a few calls with both my home warranty company (pain in the ...) and Nathan (very patient with me), new fans were ordered. Connor was out to install within a week. Both Dave and Connor were friendly and knowledgeable. All in all, excellent work!

When the guys showed up, there was 2 of them, so my time was reduced to 1 hour. I had them come out for 1 thing and they resolved that very quickly, so I then gave them 2 other tasks to do. They finished the work within 1 hour.

I have a home warranty and have needed two breakers to be repaired. The warranty company has utilized this company on both occasions. Nathan has called very quickly when I have requested service and Dave has done the repairs both times. I have been very pleased both times on the communication and the quality of the work performed. Dave also gave great advice on a ceiling fan that I had trouble with (the home warranty didn't cover it). I am at the mercy of the warranty company on who they send but I am glad it is this company. I would use them if I didn't have the warranty hands down and would recommend to others as well. Thanks!

I called to have them come out to provide an estimate for changing out a light fixture and replacing several switches. When he arrived he told me the price and that he could complete the work then. It was all done in less than an hour and he did a great job! I would recommend Paul and definitely use his service again.

We discovered the problem on Friday morning and called it in immediately. Unfortunately, the earliest an A Quality Electric electrician could make it to our home was Monday morning. So we were without our main TV, outdoor lights, and one computer for about 3 days. The electrician was promised for 8 AM but didn't arrive until about 9:30. (His first appointment was more complicated than anticipated, he said.) Once at our house, however, Dave got right to work. He had to check the wiring in about 6 outlets and three light switches before finding the one loose wire. The fix was simple and fast. While he was here, I also asked Dave to replace a wall light switch, which he did. He was out of here about 10:15.

I moved into a mobile home and half of the trailer outlets, lights and outside outlets did not work. I called A Quality Electric late Monday and they had someone out here the next day!!! He spent about an hour and half trying to find the problem. Someone had installed a new light fixture and forgot to hook up some wires. I was very delighted that this was all it was and that everything is now working. The only down side to this call was the price. I do feel that they are a bit high however they did get the job done and I would pay to use them again.

Dave called first, then arrived on schedule. He quickly identified the removable fixtures as the problem, recommended I buy four, and suggested I could avoid those transforming to 12V. At Home Depot I bought all six (120v) so I wouldn't be facing this problem again. Because of my age and balance problems, I stay off ladders. So he set a second visit as a Return (much cheaper than the minimum first visit) and came out two days later and installed them. Everything works perfectly, dimmed or full, and the total cost was far lower than I feared when I called for electrical work.

A Quality Electrical sent two technicians, since there was attic wiring to be done, and both worked quickly and efficiently, explaining everything they were planning to do, asking for our input when there were a couple of ways to get the job done. They estimated they would be done before 5 p.m. and were done by 4 p.m. I was amazed at their proficiency. Both men were quiet and neat, we hardly knew they were here.

The last time I called them was to put in 2 lights and they were honest and said that it cannot be done and they ended up doing some other minor work that I needed. They did not charge me the service charge. They tell their price upfront and it is comfortable to work with them.

I had a really good experience working with A Quality Electric. I believe that the price was reasonable, but I felt that the quality was worth it. Their quality of work was excellent.

Jason came right on time. He discovered that the ceiling fan's remote control sensor was shot, and we'd have to replace it. We told him we'd like to handle that later. The conduit repair was going to require digging. So we asked Jason to return at a later date when we'd have the digging completed and the new remote for the fan. A week later, Jason came and in less than an hour had the new remote working on the fan. He found the problem with the outside conduit and repaired it. Then I asked if he could give us a new GFI outlet, and that took about 20 minutes. We'll get another list together and call A Quality again.

They were terrific. I used e-mail on a Sunday evening to request an appointment. Promptly and politely the very next morning, the company called to say they had a technician in the area and he could be here within an hour or so. He arrived right on time and went to work. And he scheduled a return visit (no charge for the call) a week later to give us time to buy new lighting fixtures for the cabinets. A week later, another technician arrived--right on schedule--to install the fixtures.

I called Quality Electric, they sent out a repairman who repaired the wires, adding a junction box. At this point I spoke to Mike, and explained that the coupler was totally unsupported, and just asking for trouble. This was a case of shared responsibility; i.e., my workman stepped carelessly, but Quality Electric should have supported the coupler over the wood block so it was not so vulnerable to incidental contact damage. Mike refused to share any part of the cost. He threatened to have the technician UNDO THE REPAIR and leave me with broken wires on my rooftop. Mike claimed that the job was done according to "code" but did not substantiate that claim. I paid the bill, but told him I would report my bad experience to the Angie's List community. I honestly feel they should have done a better job on the original installation. Then, to make things worse, the next night I went up on the roof after a heavy rain to cover some things with plastic, and almost had an accident in the same way the previous workman did! I stepped on the junction box Q. Electric installed, and would you believe they left the coupler going into the box DIRECTLY IN MIDAIR, OFF THE WOOD BLOCK !! Same defect as before. If I had stepped in the wrong place, on a wet roof, with FORTY AMPS unleashed on me, I would be very dead right now. 40 amps is enough to kill a person, make no mistake about it. So, the bottom line is this: Q. Electric made a sub-standard installation, refused to share any of the cost, repeated the SAME DEFECT and I was put at risk of my life as a result. Do NOT use this company. They do NOT care about safety, just minimum requirements.
Response from A QUALITY ELECTRIC LC
"In regards to the latest report by the member, our work was installed 100% to current code standards. We supported the conduit per NEC 2008-358.30(A). The conduit is not intended to support anything other than itself, let alone the wheelbarrow that was repeatedly running over the conduit. There are no 40amp circuits installed in that conduit and due to proper installation and grounding, the breaker tripped (as it should) for the customer's safety after he broke it. As far as us undo-ing our work to leave him unsafe. After we repaired the issue, we were informed by the customer that he did not want to pay the full bill. We stated that we could undo the repairs that we were charging for if he did not wish to pay. We our very unhappy that a member could get on the site and state such untruths and say we could have killed him. That is a serious statement, and I believe it is shown to be completely false. If you have any questions, we can be reached at 602-867-0806. Thanks Again, Nathan"

Mike set the appointment to present an estimate and arrived on time. He was thorough, gave us three alternatives as to how the line would be run from our circuit box (outside) and allowed us to select which option we preferred. When we called to have him do the job, we agreed on a time and date. Mike was on time, peformed the job in a professional manner and did an excellent job of cleaning up. We were pleased with his expertise, were convinced that he knew code requirements and did an excellent job for what we considered a very fair price.
