It was good. They were reliable. Their service and cleanup was adequate. They came out in early 2013 and I spent about $750.

I constantly had to get them back to do things they "forgot". They are not organized and never seem to remember from one time to the next what they said they would do. I finally started keeping a list of what was to be done and had to make sure they completed everything before they left, if I could catch them before they were gone. I have had several go rounds with them on the irrigation and am still not totally happy with the results. I still have one leak that they said they would be back to fix, but I am tired of calling to get them to come back for the things they did not complete. The lighting worked for 2 says after they replaced some bulbs and then half of it burnt out because they used too high a voltage replacement bulbs which totally fried half my system. I had to get an electrician in to remove the burnt out lighting which was not fixable- the fixtures were ruined. They also planted 2 plants for me, one in the wrong location, so I had to take it out and replant it. They do respond rapidly if you complain, but I am tired of giving them chances to redeem themselves. On a bright not, the patio extension is great and I am totally happy with it. If they get organized and actually complete the work they say they will do, they would be great.

Rolling Rock Landscape came my way by reference of Thunderbird Pools & Spas who were installing my in ground pool.  We met with Representative Karen a couple weeks after the pool process was underway.  Karen has an amazing depth of plant knowledge, especially for the Phoenix valley climate.  Her recommendations of not only what we might want to consider but the why we should consider such-and-such was a truly easy and fun experience, especially for my wife.  She has what was essentially a library of choices on her iPad so while she may have had an idea we could also pick-and-choose from a variety of options.
 
Once the pool was complete Karen immediately scheduled a team that included owner James Perlow and four of the friendliest guys you would ever want to meet in Roman, Jeremy, Ceasar and Eric.  These guys worked their tails off for 2-days building and putting the finishing touches on our dream backyard.  I got to know them a little bit too, which for me is all part of the experience.  Nice guys and I wish them the best.
 
It?s important to mention that once Jim appeared on the scene you knew who was in charge.  It was great to be able to speak with the owner who is a real hands-on guy from toting wheel barrels to running the Bobcat to answering all my questions.  It?s obvious why Thunderbird gives Rolling Rock Landscape the nod as a recommended partner with this great team of doers.  I highly recommend Jim and his people to handle your landscaping needs if for no other reason than they are a family owned and run operation so you know that everything they do is staking their reputation on quality service.

They were on time, professional and the job was completed on time.  The same with my son's backyard, in fact they over estimated his backyard due to rock he already had and have issued a credit for the job they will be starting at my house this week.  You do not find that kind of honesty much these days.  I will also mention when the jobs were done you would have never known anyone had been working, the yards were completely clean.  Thank you Rolling Rock!
