Danny's Family Car Wash

I was informed that I badly needed the transmission fluid flashed and changed.  A special deal for $90 while I was already there.   I had just had this service performed less than six months ago somewhere else.  Later I checked it myself and it looked fine.  I wish I had checked Angie's first.  This seems to be their typical way to doing business.

I complained to the supervisor and he offered me another car wash.

My wife brought her 2005 Toyota Camry in for an oil change and exterior wash on 08/17/2009 at the 84th Ave & Bell Rd location. Shortly thereafter she was informed her fuel injectors were ?dirty? and that for approx $75.00 they could be cleaned. Not being able to reache she agreed to this service and had it peformed. I believe this service was totally unnecssary as we routinely take her vehicle to a factory certified repair facility and no mention has ever been made of dirty fuel injectors. I emailed Danni's asking the following questions : Is the employee who determined the fuel injectors were ?dirty? a qualified auto technician? Does he or she hold any certifications, and if so what are they? What are the criteria for determining that fuel injectors are ?dirty?? Visual inspection? Physical tests involving diagnostic equipment? Are the employees who determine that extra services are needed paid commissions, bonuses, or provided other compensation for extra services that they sell? What is the ?three step fuel service?? Can you provide details as to exactly what this service entails? What equipment and materials are used during this service? I received no reply to my questions. In my opinion, Danni's Family Car Wash is a complete ripoff. They try to upsell unnecessary services at every opportunity, and do not reply when questioned by unhappy customers. I will not buy car washes, oil changes, gas, or even a candy bar from them ever again.

DANNY'S DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB DETAILING MY TRUCK. IT WAS VERY DIRTY AND NEED A GOOD CLEANING! OVERALL THEY DID AN OK JOB. THEY SEEM TO RUSH THE CARS THROUGH THE PROCESS.
