Arizona Pool and Spa Renovations

Spent $15,400 to have my pool and decking redone. Within a few years, there is a crack in the pool and all the cool decking is coming up. Do not waste your money with this company as their work and materials do not last and they do not do anything about it. Don has just given me the run around for past year as I have tried to get him to resolve this. Now I have to have everything was redone which one does not expect after 4 years.

Beautiful remodel of our pool.

They did a good job. Were a bit messy, and did not clean up 100 percent of their mess. Communication was lacking a bit when work was getting done and when we could expect the next steps to be completed.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars all around is because the pool isn't finished as yet due to other patio work I am havign completed. The crew came and chipped out all the old plaster and tile.. It's ready for the final phase as soon as I am!

The pebble fusion is a little splotchy

Chipout crew was awesome. Communication and appointment times less than desireable. Price was very reasonable and in the end I was happy. My few issues...I was the one who noticed my old pool light was bad and when i asked them to install a new one I was told to get someone else because they didnt have an electrician? What pool remodel company can't put in a pool light? I also needed to have a new slab put under my pump and ask if they had someone who could also install a slab under my pump and was told again no not really. The laguna blue micropebble looks decent at best but there is very little pop to it even in bright sun. Hard to tell fm small sample. Ii should has asked to see a finished pool. The price was good the work was timely.I would still hire them again.

Great experience with Tim (sales) & with Don (scheduling). Would recommend this company to anyone. And our finished pebble pool is stunning!

Professional and experienced .

The team worked very quickly and did an excellent job. The whole process was much faster than I expected. Best pricing among 4 bidders.

AP&S was very professional and communicated with us very well. I only called them once to find out what was happening next. Other than that they were very good about communicating with us throughout the process. The only other issue was a poor installation of some plumbing but they did come back out and repaired it to MY satisfaction. Overall this was well worth $ spent.

My entire experience with Arizona Pool & Spa was a positive one. Don answered all my questions and offered sound advice. His easy manner and friendliness put me at ease immediately. He explained the entire process and what to expect. His crews were very efficient and cleaned up after each phase . My patio and pool look amazing! The transformation was unbelievable. It was refreshing working with something who doesn't believe in high pressure sale tactics.

We love our newly pebbled pool and deck resurfacing. Don's team did a great job on time and on budget. We would recommend them in a heart beat. Don is a great person who instills confidence in the company's abilities immediately and follows through with perfection.

We started the process before Labor Day so that we would have a little more swim season left when completed. After the pool was emptied and chipped out, we were told that there was a delay because all the suppliers for our 3 wok-pots had sold out the day before Tim went to get them. So, the pool sat empty and ugly for the next 3 weeks! Once the pots came in, the remodel was completed within the week. I gave a lower score on customer service because the communication with Mike was non-existent--he never called us to let us know what day he would be out to flush the pool and do the chemical balance, so we were not there when he came. The only reason we knew he had been there is that he put the pool vacuum in the pool, even though Tim told us not to use it for a week. We are also not sure that the flushing was done, since the ground where it would have been done was dry. My husband flushed the pool himself a couple of days later, because the pressure was so high. As far as the chemical balance, it did not look like any chemicals had been added when my husband checked, and when we asked Tim about it, he said that it was because the chemicals were being absorbed by the micropebble as it cured, we were not to add any more chemicals or shocks for at least two weeks. On a positive note, Tim was always very good at returning our calls, and answering our questions. One suggestion I have for this company is that you provide some written instructions for the owners so that they will know what to expect throughout the process. Overall, we are very happy with the way our pool looks!

It was difficult communicating with some of the workers, since they spoke limited English. They left garbage in the yard, even after picking up the slurry.

I had someone come out to help change our pool light after the pool was finished. His comment that this was a beautiful pool. They did a good job.
