I found Larry and American Handyman for my mom, and will definitely use him at my own home from now on too. He is prompt, friendly, works quickly and efficiently without feeling at all rushed. He told me on the phone he can usually get a lot done in an hour, and he is true to his word. He went from one task to the next, explaining everything as he worked, but getting it done fast. His attention to detail is tremendous. You can tell he wants the work to be done correctly and look right, and for the customer to be satisfied. Mom is thrilled with Larry and his work, and I was extremely impressed with him as well. It's great to find someone like this for the little and big jobs that come up.

Larry was incredible!  He was able to come earlier than originally scheduled.  He was so easygoing and friendly, and eager to get started on the project.  We had seven smoke detectors to replace, and he worked quickly and efficiently to finish the job without rushing.  He explained everything he did in an easy to understand manner, which I really appreciated because I like to know what's being done step by step.  Not once did I feel he was looking down at me because I was a woman - like previous handymen/repairmen have done in the past.  I felt like he really cared about doing the job right.

I would call Larry again in a heartbeat for future projects.  His rates are very reasonable, and he's willing to tackle the small home projects that most handymen won't bother to do.  In fact, I had a lock on one of doors that had been broken for a long time, and before leaving, he was able to find the right screw to quickly fix the lock.  I would highly recommend him!

He fixed everything and you can't tell they were originally broken. Great service. Leaves everything neat and clean. Dealt with him 7 or 8 times and he is excellent. Once you establish yourself as a regular customer, there is nothing he can't do.

Larry arrived on time and completed the work quickly; shorter than estimated duration. He cleaned up so it looked like no wood sawing had taken place on the patio. The finished job looks fantastic. Larry explained how the wood was nailed and caulked to prevent future water damage. Larry is a very nice guy and I won't hesitate to use American Handyman for future projects.

Though he said out door water lines weren't his expertise, he saw that I needed help right away and went right at it, saying that if his repair didn't hold then or in the future, he wouldn't charge me. It held just fine. I have used this guy, Larry, before and he is always punctual, tidy, considerate, honest, and very good at what he dies.

Larry was on time (actually called to see if he could come earlier) and worked very quickly on the project.

GAVE ME SAME DAY APPOINTMENT. WAS VERY FAST AND EFFICIENT.

He did an overall good job. Since he had to cut into the drywall there were holes that needed patched and he left with out finishing the patch work. Additionally he complained the entire time about how hard the job was and that he is running behind.

I am very pleased with them. I really like them because they come on time and do exactly what I ask. They are my handymen on call and I use them all the time. They do anything that I ask them to do. They did a wonderful job and keep everything clean. They clean up after themselves very nicely. The last time they were here for four hours.

My son was there for the work and he said everything went well and Courtney was honest in his quotes. Work was completed in a timely manner and I am very pleased with the results.

He arrived promptly, calling 10 minutes ahead to give me warning. A great guy with a positive attitude. He had the tools and parts with him and did the job quickly. He didn't charge for the full hour since the faucet repair was quick and easy. I thought it was going to be expensive since my ceiling fan and light wasn't working....the main reason I had called him. He pointed out that the switch, which we never use and I had completely forgotten exists, had evidently been turned off in the night while my husband, who has Alzheimer's, roamed the house flicking switches. A lesson learned on my part that didn't cost a thing
I had used Larry before, years ago, with the same positive results. Then, it was a toilet repair. He quickly diagnosed the problem as super minor and fixed it at no charge.
I will call this guy for help any time I need it!
