Gentlemen:
I just wanted to thank you again for the great professional job you did with the installation of my new
2.5 ton split air conditioning system.
This system has and continues to perform perfectly. The thermostat is very easy for me to use and the system keeps a consistent temperature to the setting I choose.
Very sincerely yours,
Lois Underberg
- It went well. They were on time, covered the floors where necessary and cleaned up when finished.
$10.00. Fill valve cost $54.22 & retails for $12.00. Flush valve cost $60.88 & retails for $15.00.
Retail prices are From Home Depot and may have a different retail price at other stores. But even so the prices they charge for parts are highly inflated. They charged $212.72 for parts that could have been purchased for about $40.00 at Home Depot.
Their trip charge was $35.00 which is not bad. The labor charge was $120.00 for about 1 hr.
Except for the parts charges it was not a bad experience, however I will not recommend them or use them in the future.
They did give me a $20.00 discount for a coupon that I had.
"In response to (Member name removed): We do recognize that Home depot is cheaper however we do not carry the same brand of material as we have to cover all material sold with an in-home warranty therefor we carry a higher grade material resulting in a higher cost. After reviewing the listed charges we found that we are in line if not cheaper than our competitors (Licensed bonded and insured service contractor). If the home owner wants to supply material we will happily install it for them but as mentioned above we will not warranty any customer supplied material. Respectfully Submitted A-Peoria Plumbing"
