Description of Work: This was a promotional offer I received via Angie's List: $69 for carpet cleaning and deodorizing for 4 rooms. When the person arrived to do the job I was told the $69 was for a "maintenance" cleaning and if I really wanted the carpets clean I'd need to pay $89 more for "preconditioning." I have reviewed everything I received about this deal and nowhere does it say the offer is for a "maintenance" cleaning. There is one reference to the possibility of pet stains or "extreme" stains incurring an additional cost. I think the offer was misleading. If it's for a "maintenance" cleaning, that's what it should say. | |That said, the person who came to do the job did it well. He offered me a deal for a future cleaning (good for 6 months) for $69 with the preconditioning. I put "C" for professionalism because of how the offer was worded, but the person who came to do the job was professional (I doubt he was the one who wrote the language in the offer). | |

Thank you for the feedback. It is always our effort to receive an A rating and we work very diligently in achieving the public's faith in our business. This promotional offer was for carpet cleaning and deodorizing only as mentioned in the offer, not for tough stains that a basic carpet clean could not handle. The carpeting was extremely stained throughout the member's home which our trained Technician discussed the benefits of pre-treating these problem areas and the additional costs the member would incur as a result if the member opted to proceed with these additional services. Our Technician was so confident the member would be satisfied with the results that he offered to remove the additional charges of the pre-treatment if the member was unsatisfied in any way. Needless to say the member was satisfied upon the Technicians completion so much so that the member tipped the Technician $30 for a job well done. If there is any way that we can restore your faith with our company, we would love the opportunity to earn an A rating with you. Please let us know what we can do and we will work with you. For future members that may be reading this review, please know that we have worked with Angie's List to update the fine print that outlines the additional charges that may be incurred for high traffic areas, difficult/stubborn stains for carpet and tile/grout areas. We hope this helps prevent any misunderstandings in the future.

Description of Work: Did 4 rooms, cleaned & deodorizing, per Angie's List Special for $69.00. BUT, $105 got added on for some other spray he put on. Now he did tell me it was an additional cost but he didn't say how MUCH it would cost extra.I was surprised when he was done I asked him what the total was and he told me the addional cost was $105.00 EXTRA! I just think they should be more open about extra charges and I should have asked the cost of the extra spray, my mistake. They did a good job though and I would use them again.

At Shipley & Sons Construction and AZ Xtreme Clean we always work hard to receive an A rating in all of the categories that we are critiqued on. One of the ways that we do this is by going over the services with the customer and presenting them with an invoice. This invoice is signed prior to services being preformed so that all of our pricing is above board. (We never start work without prior approval) If the customer would like the service scope reduced in order to keep within there budget, we are happy to oblige them. If this did not happen we would like the customer to call the office so that we can take the appropriate steps to assure that our customers are receiving the highest quality service they disserve.
