RJC Electric has been in business in the Payson area since 1996. Owner Rex Cox has been involved in the electrical industry for 30 years. In 2008 we incorporated and were forced to do a name change with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors due to the change in entity. We had a GFI (ground fault interrupt) circuit that tripped in our garage. I checked the circuit with a voltage meter and found the GFI receptacle was not functioning properly and the common wire on the incoming line was registering 95 volts. I knew something was wrong in the circuit so I left the breaker tripped. That was on a Sunday. I found RJC on Angie's List after getting to work on Monday and passed along the contact info to my wife to call and set up an appointment. She called on Tuesday morning and was told that they had a pretty full schedule for the day but would try and squeeze in a visit in the afternoon. The technician arrived just before 2 PM and according to my wife was very friendly and knowledgeable and was able to troubleshoot the problem in a matter of minutes. A burned common wire in the GFI circuit was found and removed and replaced. The charge for the visit and repair was only $65, a bargain in my book. I will definitely keep RJC in my contacts list!

He showed up on time with his assistant. They went to work and finished ahead of the expected schedule. All cleaned up...he installed a plugin for our Heat tape at no extra cost. The total bill was about $100.00 less than the estimate. We are excited to schedule him again for our next electrical installation.
