Cathy is an excellent realtor. I had four young children and one on the way when we were searching and she helped me stay organized so that I could remember details of every home we saw. She even made me a notebook to keep all of the information in. She knows the city of Phoenix really well because she grew up here, and that helped us figure out what neighborhoods would work best for us. We are really picky and our needs were very specific, and she was really patient with us as we looked for several months. Finally, when the perfect house came On the market, we were out of state for Christmas. She was instrumental in making that purchase happen by communicating really well and quickly with the sellers on our behalf. Her response time is very quick and she always has all the details in order. She was right there with us from looking at our first property to sitting with us through the closing and answering all our questions. We are so glad we chose to work with Cathy and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone else who is looking for an excellent, highly ethical realtor.

It went great! Cathy is the consummate professional, and comes from a family with decades of experience in the Phoenix/Scottsdale real estate and construction fields. She knew my tastes and what areas and homes would appeal to me and fit my needs, and found me the perfect home at a great price, which allowed me to do some renovations. She was punctual, efficient, upbeat, energetic, and a true pleasure to work with. I could count on getting honest input from her, and feedback on the numerous properties we viewed. We purchased a home at a significantly lower price than the asking price. Cathy negotiated with the seller and we were successful in buying our home well under asking price. As part of the purchase Cathy had great recommendations for a lender and an inspection service which was very helpful in the smooth transaction. Cathy was very patient as we looked at many different properties in our home search. She was very flexible in meeting on our schedule and has excellent communication throughout the process. I had contacted Cathy twice before in three years to sell our house, but we never listed it. I figured the third time I called her she may decide against representing us. But she showed up just as eager as the first time. This was during a sales boom so it wasn't like she was sitting around waiting for a phone call. Cathy, it seems, just sees everything as an opportunity/challenge!
We listed our home and in 5 days we had an offer. Now some of this was the market at the time. But some of it was that Cathy knew what the house needed BEFORE it was listed to put it in the best possible light for potential buyers. We agreed to all of it and our house sold quickly because of it. You should have seen the photos!
I really like that Cathy doesn't let things fall through the cracks. She stays on top of the entire process to make sure your home sells as quickly as possible. And she tries to make it as easy on you as possible. If you're into technology she can do things electronically (texts, emails, etc). If you are more comfortable doing things with paper or phone calls, she can do that too.

We recently relocated, leaving Arizona. We hired Cathy to act as our seller's agent and were extremely impressed throughout the process. We moved on short notice, and several maintenance projects needed to be completed prior to the sale. We had already left the area and Cathy was invaluable in managing these projects, having the house cleaned and getting it ready for market. Our house was under contract within two weeks of listing, and we recently closed. Cathy was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and working with her was a delight. We highly recommend her.

We met Cathy while we were in Arizona for a few days. She came thoroughly prepared with comparables and she made suggestions to show the property in the best possible light. We also discussed the timing of the listing. Cathy kept everything moving ahead smoothly even though we were out of town. She recommended a team of professional and reasonably priced contractors to help us get the property looking its best. She coordinated locally with them to do the work since we could not meet with them in person. We always felt we were in good hands with Cathy. She is an excellent communicator. She stayed in touch with us by phone, texts and emails. She kept us updated on a regular basis. Once the property was listed, we received several cash offers for the property. Within a few weeks, we received a cash offer at the listing price. Planning to relocate to Phoenix from the mid-west, we found Cathy on Angie's List. From the first phone call, we knew we had found a gem. Cathy listened to our goals and concerns and provided excellent advice on the various areas of Phoenix and what we could expect for community culture, price, traffic, shopping, everything! Because our knowledge of desert living was limited, she also was a valuable resource for the "What about....?" questions like landscaping, pool maintenance, summer heat. Unlike all the real estate agents on the television house hunter shows, she never tried to up-sell from our specified budget. In addition, she gave us honest information which may have cost a sale, for example, "I know you like this floor plan but the property backs up to a very busy street. Even if the noise doesn't bother you, it may be an issue for resale." How many real estate agents do that? We made multiple trips to Phoenix for marathon house viewings - as many as 19 in one three day period - and she had everything scheduled, mapped out, printed and organized to make it easy for us to manage such a schedule. She responds promptly, provides complete and accurate information, is a fun, pleasant person, and truly represents your best interests. Cathy Knoell is a 10!

Very professional from the get go... Had a wonderful listing presentation, very detailed, showed me all the comparables, discussed and explained the whole listing process, current market conditions and what to expect with the sale on my property. After signing with her to list our property we were very pleased with her continually professionalism, promptness in answering our questions and keeping us informed with the showings, buyer agents correspondence and offers. She also walked us through the whole process up until a successfully closing.
She also pays for and has some of the most amazing photos taken of the property. I have seen and looked at numerous MLS house photos and i must say her photographer takes some of the best housing photos i have ever seen.
I would definitely recommend her if you are thinking of listing your property or buying a property. I have an inactive real estate license and having been a licensed real estate Agent in the state of AZ and i can surely say she is truly one of the very best agents you can wish for when selling or buying a property.

We found Cathy through Angieslist and contacted her in early Feb, she responded immediately and met with us the very next weekend. As it was our 1st home, we had so many questions and criteria, Cathy handled all of it very well. Her responses showed experience and good knowledge in the real estate business. She understood clearly what we were looking for, and had our search set up accordingly. I was amazed by the material she had prepared for our visits to all properties, it was thorough and designed w.r.t our needs. As our apt lease was ending, we wanted to find the house asap and we asked Cathy to meet on weekdays - we were surprised by how quickly she arranged all our visits and squeeze b/w her prev appointments and Most importantly, she always used to be there ahead of time :). She never pushed us to make a quick decision, gave us all space and suggestions which helped us narrowing our criteria, making a well informed decision. She gave us the right info/comparisons in placing the offer for our house.. After the offer got accepted, she articulated the contract addendums nicely, got papers e-signed, all in all the entire process from start to the end was a smooth ride. Cathy was very personable and knowledgeable of the Phoenix/Scottsdale real estate market. In addition she showed me many homes as my search was not an easy one. She gave great advice, and didn't pressure me in any way like a lot of other realtors. She was also with me during my closing process and stayed in touch even after I had made a bid on a home (most realtors check out at this point). I would recommend anyone looking for a home in the area to use Cathy - she is a great realtor and a very enjoyable person to work with.

I called Cathy and she set up an appointment with me for the very next day. She showed up on time and had all the material and information I needed to help me make my decision. In the end, I decided to stay put for the next year. Cathy was honest with me, and she sincerely directed me in such a way that I could freely decide to make the best decision for me. Nice, punctual, on-time, very thorough, will make time for you when it's important. Closed the deal well. Very reasonable and has much experience. Impressed with documentation she brought the first day we met on the properties that I inquired about (including 3 comps), well organized (in person and her website), and the knowledge she had when asked questions. Cathy is nothing short of amazing. I moved from south Chandler to Scottsdale, so was used to beautiful new neighborhoods at much more reasonable prices than is found in Scottsdale. When we first started looking within the necessary school district, it was so hard to believe that for $100K more, the neighborhoods were such a lower quality of life than I was used to. Cathy never gave up though, and ended up finding me the perfect hidden gem in my number one choice of a neighborhood.
Besides working her magic, Cathy was incredibly professional and proactive, anticipating and taking action on every need. I've moved more times than I care to admit, and never thought buying a house could be anything but stressful. Cathy took on everything herself, leaving me to sit back and enjoy the experience.

Cathy is phenomenal! I have never had the pleasure of working with someone as responsive and hardworking as she is. I've moved a lot for work, and this made the fifth home that I'd sold. I had resigned myself to what a stressful, difficult process this would be, but Cathy changed my paradigm 180 degrees. She handled every detail quickly and thoroughly. It is unfortunate the previous member lacked the technical ability to pick up the phone and call Cathy to confirm (after 2 weeks???). if his initial email was received. I would submit he likely ?fat fingered? the email attempt and it never was transmitted properly as my wife and I, and the responding membership of Angie?s List, have found Cathy to be prompt in responding to contacts as well as being organized, prepared and professional.
My wife and I chose to relocate to the Phoenix area in the fall of 2012. We decided to give Cathy a call based on the number of positive reviews she received here in Angie?s List. Thank goodness we didn?t see the previous review or we would have missed working with the best agent we have ever met!
After a phone interview we agreed to meet Cathy to determine if she would be the right professional for us to work with. We found her to be a joy in every way. Cathy was on time, flexible, organized, prepared, and had great follow through. Furthermore, after the first meeting, Cathy knew exactly what we wanted in a home and was able to help us zero in on the right properties to view, saving us a lot of time. As we needed to arrange viewings to coincide with trips to Phoenix for other purposes, we found Cathy quite flexible in meeting our scheduling requirements.
Not only did Cathy come prepared with the basic information on the properties we viewed, she also did research on some of the things she knew were important to us. Since we were relocating and did not know the area at all, her guidance, patience and professionalism were invaluable.

Cathy was available at anytime of the day or night for a call, a visit, email or text. She used every means possible to comunicate with me; by even a follow up text, just in case I missed her email. Any question she didn't have the answer to, she found the answer and reported to me in record time, even through time zone issues. As I worked with Cathy, I found her to be fun, energetic, patient and full of integrity. She came up with alternatives, other ideas as well as better ways of handling some of the complicated things I asked her to do. She communicated very well with my 1031 agent in another state and successfully managed to handle the purchase process smoothly and uniformly.
