I got Lori's contact details from the real estate agent who sold us our house, she was also highly recommended by a nursery where she previously had worked. The first contact was great, Lori showed me a garden or two that she is looking after in our housing area and made good recommendations how to improve our garden and what she would address e.g. with the irrigation system. The price quoted for the monthly service was the highest we had received however with her good accolades we decided to accept her offer. The first service went well and many of the points we discussed were addressed, she even sent me a photo of things that were inadvertently stored in our driveway. Shortly after the next service was performed we came back and were disappointed by the lack of attention to detail. We had a long list of observations ranging from the irrigation system not being addressed, a dead bird being left behind, a main irrigation line that was washed out by a heavy rainfall not being covered again, areas not properly raked, etc. We sent Lori a related e-mail and did not hear back. When we consequently canceled the service a number of weeks afterwards Lori acknowledged receiving our previous e-mail but apparently blank, however she did not consider closing the loop with us. With us frequently not being around we were willing to in comparison pay more for somebody who would pay attention to detail. Too bad it did not work out.
