"Mr. [Member Name Removed] your allegations were found to be unsubstantiated by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. If we ran such a horrible business as you claim the Arizona Registrar of Contractors would not of dismissed all of your alleged complaints against our company. The truth of the matter is you met with our former Sales Representative multiple times as well as had several conversations with Janet Potter on various items. You wanted one thing but you didn't want to pay for all of that. When you found you needed more gravel you declined and later on hired someone else to install said gravel. Yes, we do have disclaimers, like any other legitimate business. All of your work was completed per the Final Signed Contract and delivered in workmanship manner. Its unfortunate you feel the need to continue to make defammatory statements and try to ruin our crew's livelihood."
"The Porta Potty was in the process of being unloaded along with other equipment. It was never the crews intent to leave it sit in front of someone's home. They intended to move it to the side but was not given a chance by the neighbor. The Crew never blocks the street when parking. Nor was the company contacted by the Fire Dept that there was any alleged potential violations committed by the crew. The office of Mike Potter Landscaping did send out a crew to evauluate the street cleanup done in front of Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s Home. They swept up 1 additional shovel full of sand that they missed. Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s job had multiple angles to deal with. As with every job our company does string lines and chalk lines were pulled and mark to provide a quality job. Mr. [Member Name Removed] was shown a Random Pattern picture as to how his pavers would be set and that was what was written up and agreed to in the contract. Mr. [Member Name Removed] hired Gino, a Construction Consultant to look at the pavers that were installed by our company. Gino told our company representative that it was not a bad job that the customer was being too picky. Our company representative wanted to fix two pavers along the edge that had been stepped on by someone when the mortared edge was still wet and add some more polymeric sand to the paves. Gino agreed that would all that would be necessary. Mr. [Member Name Removed] missed Gino's visit and was very angry and argumentative while on the phone with Gino in front of our Representative and our Representative could hear Gino saying just let them do what they said they are going to do and pay them its not a bad job. In regards to the Flagstone Top on the Firepit , the Flagstone Top was reset in front of Mr. [Member Name Removed] and Cut while Mr. [Member Name Removed] was there. Mr. [Member Name Removed] stated he was now happy with the work and signed a statement stating so and that he would not take any further action of any kind against our company. We left the pavers and flagstone top exactly as Mr. [Member Name Removed] stated he wanted it left. If he decided to reset the pavers in a different pattern after the fact that is on him."
This company is punctual and gets work done in the timeframe promised. The work is just satisfactory (generous) as long as it is simple flat surfaces. Any curves, steps or lighting looks like a first timer. In our case, pavers were laid over existing concrete and soil areas. While the concrete was uneven to begin with, the curved areas are uneven and the step has significant slopes and is uneven - even where there was no pre-existing concrete. At the end of the job, we pointed out the uneven areas and asked if they could either be redone or the price adjusted for the poor quality of work. The owner immediately threaten to put a lien on my house if I did not accept the work and pay him. He was verbally abusive and refused to accept any responsibility for the quality of his own work. He was extremely unprofessional and his own crew was apologizing for his ridiculous behavior. I would not recommend hiring this company.
"This job started it out rough as the spouse of the customer who was sent to look at the color/style display at our vendors location didn't understand that the display and the contract stated it was a blended color product. When the pavers were delivered the spouse didn't like them, the spouse wanted only one of the colors. Mike explained again to the customer and spouse that this was a color blended product, please let the crew know if you wish to proceed or send the pavers back. The customer notified the crew they wished to proceed. The crew was told by the neighbors and the customer what a nice job they were doing. The customer was walked through the job and was told it looked good. When it came time to get paid the customer was asking for discounts and not wanting to pay. When asked why they said they were not happy and the crew asked with what and it came down to the coping on the step. Crew reset a couple pieces of coping while still there. The customer still refused to pay. Management has discussed how this situation might be handled differently going forward."
