We contacted three contractors including Harris roofing and were told we just need minor maintenance! They were professional and did a great job! The solar company did not believe it was all we needed and hired their own roof contractor to check our roof. They said it was in excellent condition after our maintenance and we needed no repairs just like Harris roofing had told us. I would recommend this extremely professional and trustworthy company to anyone and everyone!

Gary responded within hours of call. He patched the leak and didn't want to charge me anything. I highly recommend him and will certainly call on him again for future issues (roof is 15 years old).

Gary was very responsive when I called him. He had his men fix a leak over the kitchen ceiling. He also made several suggestions as to other repairs that needed attention on the roof. I was already aware of these other roof issues, since when I bought the house the inspector did report several items that needed attention. Gary took care of all potential problems and did a great job. I hope I don't need him for a long time, but if I do, I will definitely call him again.

I had been quoted $8,000 by another company for fictitious work and totally lied to about the topography and state of my roof. I had a minor leak and despite the other company's claims of my roof being in terrible shape due to bad construction (5 years old), Harris found it required a minor repair costing $375.00 and carried out the job within a couple of days of the estimate. Not only that, they told me how well and professional the roof was done. I had a very similar experience with them in a previous house and that roof remained leak free for the next five years that I lived in the house, and most likely to this day. Cannot say enough good about this company from every aspect.

We first met Gary when he was doing our neighbor's roof. He was a really nice guy and gave us a good quote so we hired him. He explained all that he would do, put a drip strip around the whole roof, pointed out facia that needed replacing and was willing to work around my husband doing that himself. Gary even went out of his way to make it easier. The eaves needed to be painted so Gary would uncover that side of the house so we could paint while he did the roofing on another section. The first roof repair we just had shingles laid over our previous roof. The second time insurance paid for everything to be taken off down to the wood and then replaced. The third time (!!) it went down to the wood again. Gary was courteous, kept us aprised of schedule changes (due to winter weather) and his crew got it all done in two days each time, including the haul-away. Clean up was good but not spotless. Lauri in the office is a joy to talk to - perked up my day every time I talked with her. Gary is very honest, amiable, and easy to work with. Only complaint is that they don't take credit cards - want cash or check. To be fair, the $4000 cost shown is an estimate - it got sort of confusing with the second and third times.

I chose Harris because he is local to New River. He came the next afternoon to provide an estimate. Two days later the repair was complete. Wind and rain since have proven the repairs to be effective. They also replaced other shingles that were missing or damaged over the whole expanse of the roof.

They were professional, reasonably priced, seemed to really know what they're doing, and they finished the job on time. Would recommend them again in a heartbeat.
