"A review 11 months after the work was done is just as sweet as a review the day after. Thank you for the kind words"
"A coupon purchased in advance, this client had very specific requests and time frames. Mt attempt to meet those were also during the time when vehicles and equipment and a virus on a cell phone, all happened in a few weeks. One of my biggest faults is telling exactly what`s going on in my life and on occasion, seems to far fetched to believe. Please call me first, let`s agree on a coarse of action, then the purchase of the coupon, to help the cost of tree service, will most benefit your situation and not handcuff mine."
"My coupon has lead to every negative review I have. Take a look. As a small company, I have to deal with a lot of outside factors. Lately, the craziness has reached a frenzy. If you look at my body of work, please do not judge this series of events. They did happen, but they are truly not how I trim and remove trees. The coupon takes matters out of my hands when purchased before you call me. Please call me first, then I can set up times in advance, rather than the coupons requirements setting up times, when I may not be available due to extenuating circumstances. Thank you."
"The contractor is this review is the owner of the company,, me. It was the first trimming job in a few years and happened to be on the first really hot day. This client has 10 trees. A large Acacia that took up the value of the coupon. The reasoning behind a coupon is to give you a discount on the total cost of a professional tree service. It does not give you the liberty to assume the final cost of a tree project with no idea the cost. Here is where the story goes a bit astray... during the bid, which was done separately, from the the day of the project I walked him around every single tree and explained where and what I was going to do. I also told him that I was going to take care of his tree myself. The trees looked good, the clean-up was good. We cleaned 9 or the 10 trees and the surrounding area. In the 5th hour of work, I got tired. Like cant stand up.. tired. The last tree was also cleaned up, just not blown clear of all debris, like I expect to have happen. so I suggested that if he give me a little slack, I will come back and do some more trimming where he might want later. I have never needed to hand right the nuances of tree trimming because I make sure to spent all the time you need to understand how I work before I cut a single branch. When a client agrees to trim 10 trees for less than $100 a tree, I have to ask why he thought the price was too high? He could of said no. A professional tree company is not a landscaping company that is not trained to thin out trees. The reason the cost was considered high, was the $40 a tree that was being paying before to a landscaping crew with a pole saw, only trimmed 20% of the tree. I try to educate that a landscaping crew may be trimming trees outside their daily routine, hence the cost. I will usually be a little higher price because of the equipment used and I take the time needed to get the job done. Concessions were made due to the heat and the 30 mins of extra trimming turned into 4 hours, just to make sure client was happy. I will do a better job articulating the differences of the two professions. and make sure I am not starting a losing proposition due the cost."
But they kindly and professionally worked with the neighbor who did not move anything aside for them so they did it for her. In reality they could have asked for them to do it and they would return another day. But they went ahead and did it for her.
In the end they made her real happy. And hopefully my side will fill in so I have my privacy back. Scott and company did an excellent job dealing with my needs and the neighbors and clean up.
It was always a messy tree. We're glad it's gone. I did clean up some remnant pods in the yard after they left, but I'll never have to do that again. No more mess from that tree. I'm so relieved!
"Long story short, my mouth has been writing checks it can't cash. A lack of proper equipment and my trying to fit 35 hours into a 24 hour day. I got behind and with sincere honesty tried to do more than my company was capable of. I have a few more possible reviews of this nature and even though I discounted the work due to my lack of attendence, no excuse in not completing the work i was tasked to do.These are all part of a understaffed month that has now been fixed. Thank you for taking the time to read tbis."
Also, twice we found damage at the church from severe storms -- in May and just recently. In both cases, Scott had a crew on the premises and cleaned everything up so that no damage was evident by the time people came to the church services. In May, he sent his crew the same day. This last storm, he was able to handle the job within 24 hours, even though it meant coming to the church on early Sunday morning.
Our entire church board is grateful to Scott and his crew for helping us beautify and maintain our church grounds, and for being so responsive when we needed his help after storm damage.
"I don't understand price complaints. I bid this clients tree off 1 picture and said the range was the coupon up.to $175 more out of pocket. That included the stump grinding that is not covered by the coupon. Due to the storm, non emergency small removals were rescheduled. I am glad this client got the same pricing I would of been, like I told her, once I see the tree in person."
"With the consecutive storms that recently hit our area, not everyone was afforded the personized service I pride myself in. This client mentioned he had multiple bids already and that his tree at a rental was not an emergency. I had actual emergencies to take care of and gave him enough credit to make a decision on the other bids. It is also not required to have 7 bids to make a decision and time is valuable when trees are leaning on houses. I will do a better job in the future trying to return calls."
