Matt and his team showed up at agreed upon time and proceeded immediately to get to work. It was impressive to see how quick and effective they worked. The renovation project included replacing all the floors in the house and was a huge project. Wharton construction worked around my schedule and accommodated my work from home needs.  They did a super job of cleaning up at the end of each day.  This is a very hardworking group of professionals who stayed busy the entire time they were working.  Their prices were very reasonable but it is their attention to detail and the quality of their work that speaks volumes for this company / crew. This is the only contractor that I will consider for any future work; I will hire them again to assist with all future renovation projects. This company is why I only use Angie's list to find / hire the best, most reputable, and highest rated professionals.

Matt and his crew arrived on time, set up and went to work.  They worked both efficiently and carefully.  The wood 
flooring was beautifully done.  Also it was a pleasure to spend time with them.  Matt is an interesting and well informed 
person full of lots of useful information that he will freely share if you have the curiosity. Also they were very respectful 
of my home and were careful to clean up each day when they left.  Not only were the results superb, but it was a good 
experience to see such skilled, capable work. 

I met with Gabe on November 16, 2006 and explained the job. He measured the area and discussed what and how much product needed to be purchased. ( I was working with an interior designer and her products) The installation was scheduled for Dec 6, 7, 8. The work was completed on the 7th. The second week of January I noticed I could see every seam, chipping was occurring in corners and there were significant gaps noticeable throughout. Gabe came out to inspect and told me it was a milling error. Said his guys noticed the problem when they were installing the product, but he neglected to share this information with me then. The flooring manufacturer sent out an independent 3rd party inspector who's report essentially put the blame on the installer. At first, Gabe was going to re-do the floor, but now wants another inspector get involved.

Terry Lease came to do a quote the SAME day we called Wharton. He is fabulous! He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, showed up when he said he would, and was available anytime of day or night. He even saved us a huge amount of money by purchasing the tile for us with his contractors discount. The crew showed up when asked to. Very little mess in the house besides normal dust. He's our go to guy for future remodel endeavors! We didn't shop price on labor. The savings on the tile was enough plus the fact he showed up initially when he said he would! Others wouldn't even return our calls.

I was very pleased with Terry Lease, the man in charge of our job. He did a superb job of giving us an estimate and getting the job scheduled very quickly and in planning how the entire job would be done. I even called Terry on the weekend on his work cell phone. Even though he was off for the weekend he very politely took care of my questions. The laborers he sent to do the work did a good job, also. We were very happy with the entire job and appreciate the replacement of grout that loosened up near the door. The man who tacked the carpet down after the tile was done made it look very neat. Matt Wharton, the owner, and everyone involved with the job were very accommodating.

Wonderful Experience! Matt is passionate about his work and has a great crew. Matt listened to exactly what I wanted, made suggestions, was responsive and kept on top of his crew. My bathrooms turned out great.
