TRANSCITY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INC

I signed a year leasing contract with Transcity Property Management Inc. from Oct 2007 to the last day of Oct 2008. I lost my job in Phoenix in June of 2008 and took another job in Chicago. I made every payment on time in the full amount. Sometime in August I received a phone call from "Scamcity" stating that I need to call the utility company and get the utilities turned back on in my name, that they had shut off, while I was still making payments on time. The leasing agreement stated that the utilities were to be left on for the entire lease. Which they were, until 'Scamcity" shut them off. After my final rental payment Transcity sent me a letter in the mail in Oct. stating that I owed them for a utility payment of $166. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau disputing the amount that "Scamcity" said I owed. In the request filed with the BBB I demanded that "Scamcity" mail me an official bill from the UTILITY company stating these charges owed or by a court. They, however, couldn't and dropped their scam charges. Obviously Transcity won't say so, but they were just trying to get a few extra dollars. This company is not trustworthy as a business, and NO ONE should do business with these people. I'm certain I'm not the only one they have tried this with.
