The Moving Guy, LLC, owned by Justin Boshears, moved items from the interior of my home to my garage, for staging purposes in the sale of my house. My realtor hired his company for this small local job. They also paid him. While the owner was not involved himself in this transaction, I was impressed on how well his crew performed. I contacted Boshears shortly after the sale of my house and asked for a bid or estimate on an interstate move from AZ to MI. He assured that he could do the job and that he has done interstate moves recently, not just local moves. He gave me a written quote. I did not approve/sign any documents. Immediately he asked for a deposit for the rental of a 26 ft. Van that he would reserve from a facility such as UHaul or Penske and that he would require $1,000.00 to secure the vehicle. Against my better judgement, I complied and sent him the money. Within days I contacted him that I wanted additional bids in order to make a more informeded decision. He became irate with me , however, he said in a text message that he would return the money to me the next day. Subsequently, I discovered that reservations to book a truck are FREE. NO DEPOSIT is required! Also, his website has the logos displayed of the BBB and Angie's List, both of which he is not affiliated. I also know that he is not licensed for moves out of AZ. It has been over 30 days and I have not received my deposit back. I reached out to him 3 times to return my money with no response. Justin Boshears took my money under falso pretenses. That is unlawful. He also misrepresented his company and his capacity to move across state lines. I find him unethical, most unprofessional and shameless. I am a senior. I am a recent widow. I just want to return to my hometown near family. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JUSTIN BOSHEARS, THE MOVING GUY, LLC. Pleased do not be deceived like I was.

HORRIBLE...Wished I'd read the reviews on yelp first.. BE CAREFUL. This company is great at getting to you and moving your things. The problem that I had is that they are careless with your items and your walls, and/ or doors. If dings on walls, or to my furniture was not enough, they broke my floor vase. The floor vase was about $140 dollars. Justin, the owner, assured me that he would replace it or pay, and not to worry. I paid him and his assistant and tipped (because I understand that moving is hard work and I believed him - naively). Well, I waited over 4 months, with phone calls and text. Initially, he answered, indicating that he is looking for one to replace it and finally he said he would just pay for it. All lies. I then found that he blocked my number and just stopped responding. He never paid or replaced... WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, if you are going to use PLEASE USE WITH CAUTION. A COMPANY'S REP IS ONLY AS GOOD AS ITS WORD.

We hired the Moving Guy for our long distance move in early December. I asked all the questions you are supposed to like are you licensed and insured. I got all the right answers and was optimistic that I hired the right crew. I was wrong. Justin was a hard worker and very responsive and polite but the people he brought in to help were not careful. I have over $1000 in damages to my dining room set alone. They also damaged my living room end tables, destroyed 2 different shelving units, scuffed and dented both my washer and dryer, scratched up my daughters bed frame, and a brand new futon frame. In my opinion they positioned the furniture so the damages were obscured so I couldn’t see until they had left. They rushed to put the furniture into the new house, denting and scratching walls and ceilings (yeah you read that correctly, they damaged the ceiling!) because they purchased return flights in the early afternoon only giving themselves a couple hours to complete the job. I contacted Justin the next day and provided pictures of all the damages. He assured me they would fix everything and apologized for the trouble. To date I received one replacement $30 shelf and had a furniture repair company come to fix the scuff marks on 7 of my chairs. The gouges in the dining room table surface and all legs were so bad that they couldn’t be fixed in my home and Justin would not authorize the repairs to be done at the repair shop. And now Justin is ignoring my phone calls and texts. I gave more than enough opportunity for them to fix what they damaged. Find someone to move your belongings unless you don’t care what condition you receive everything back in. I couldn’t only post any of the photos here but I have dozens, all of different damaged pieces that I wish I could upload here.

Best price and they fit my schedule which was to pack next day and move the following, a real problem I was finding but luckily Justin was able to make it work for me, I was very happy. The packing went wonderfully not a broken item in the entire move, I had a lot of large mirrors too. They supplied the boxes, full size wardrobes, good clean ones as well as blankets. The packing went reasonably quick, I had a 1 bedroom house, full furniture and kitchen, they arrived around 9 started packing entire house and were gone by noon. The following day they arrived at address in NV on time and were unloaded without breaking anything within 1.5 hours. I would hire them again.

Super professional and very personable. They wrapped everything and they did a quality job with all my stuff. Everything was secure and they set it all up they even dismantled my bed and set up back up at our new house. They even took my fridge doors off and put them back on at the new house. I recommended them to three more people.
