I hired him to paint the interior of my house, but then he said he could do an additional job for me of installing two french doors. I should have had him just paint the house. At first, he seemed very professional, he seemed to only want to do the bare minimum by not installing door trim and left the house a mess with drywall dust. Upon later inspection, I found there were areas that he did not paint or painted incorrectly, where he had installed the doors there were little gaps, the trim wasn't installed professionally and it just looked unfinished. I reached out to him to come to fix the mistakes and he said he would, but it has been almost 2 months and he has yet to correct the mistakes. This was the first time I had hired a painter so thought it was just part of the process, but this is not part of the process. He's a nice guy, but I would not hire him again.
