About us
I build and service desktop and laptop PC computers. Through remote access software I am able to resolve most computer issues over an internet connection. This software allows me to see your screen and control your computer to resolve your critical (and not so critical) issues while you watch. I have been consulting on computer issues since 1983 and have written a computer column for a magazine for more than 10 years. As a VAR (Value Added Reseller) I sell hardware, software and accessories. In the Phoenix and Tucson markets I perform on-site diagnostics and assistance with PCs and networking issues, connectivity, and other technology solutions. Assist in importing and exporting of address books, contact lists and favorites from AOL, MSN, Comcast, Cox and other major online e-mail services. Since January 2012 members have purchased more than 400 Big Deals for computer tune-ups and consulting. I have more than 375 "A" ratings.

Joe to the rescue! First I had no internet connection & Joe was able to re-establish it for me. Then I bought a new computer & needed to have everything from the old computer transferred to the new one: files, documents, photos, etc. Joe was able to do the transfer seamlessly & completely. He worked professionally, patiently & with good humor. I'll call on him again, every time I have a computer issue! Thanks, Joe, for your great work again!

I had been unsuccessfully trying to get my login procedure to function efficiently for the better part of a month with, at best, mixed results. Sometime it would work and other times it wouldn't. It now works splendidly

Joe to the rescue! My computer was slow & acting badly. I also needed to set up a network of multiple computers. Joe went into my computer remotely & cleared out the viruses, then went to work setting up the network. He was able to set the network up quickly & gave me a tutorial on how it worked so that I'd be able to use it going forward. He was efficient, kept me involved in the process every step of the way, patient in answering my questions & while giving me the tutorial. His work, as always, was terrific & that's why i always go to Joe for any work I need done on my computers. He's worth every bit of the 5 starts I gave him! Thanks Joe!

Joe could not get the problem fixed but he helped me get in touch with the company and was very understanding. I am 74 and have memory issues but Joe took time to help me understand. I will definitely call him if/when I have computer issues. The help was all provided on the telephone

Everything went great, as always...for years! Joe is great, just got off the phone with him on a Sunday night. How many people have the work ethic to work on a Sunday night? I do, and so does Joe Shipley. I've had Joe for years and will continue to use Joe as my computer guy. My only concern is he might retire one year. Highly recommend Joe Shipley.

Joe is wonderful! He is super responsive and makes time in his busy schedule to help us with our computer needs. He was able to get our new hire's computer cleaned up, removed junk files and unneeded services, and increased the speed in a very short period of time. Working closely with his computer hardware specialist associate, the new solid-state hard drive was installed and Joe had the computer ready for pick-up in a few days (turned in on Friday, picked up on Monday). I've worked with Joe for all my computer problems for several years now, and I wouldn't change anything. He's honest, reasonably-priced, and competent. What more can you ask for?!

Joe was able to make the repair remotely as well as clean out unnecessary files and download protection programs I needed. The work was done in one day and I did not have to lug my PC to a store. I will definitely use Joe again as well as suggest his services to my friends.

Joe, together with his hardware partner, working remotely identified the problem as the APC Smart-UPS 1500 unit the computer was powered through. They thought it could be a faulty APC or bad battery. We took the APC unit out of the circuit and plugged the computer power cord directly into the wall outlet, reset a few Power and Sleep options in Win10, and observed overnight test results. Problem beautifully diagnosed and solved! Joe is a great computer resource, and I've used him consistently for several years. Highly recommended!!!

"This project was most challenging. It took some creative investigation to finally determine why the computer would shut down each hour. Turned out there was a faulty switch and a bad Uninterruptible Power Supply that was causing the problem. Persistence paid off. It'[Member Information Removed] great to work for this client."

June 2014, I bought a computer service through Angie's List from captioned company. Once again, Joe Shipley worked his magic and cleaned my system of the ransom virus and any other issues. Joe was able to identity the virus and delete same. I'm greatful for his assistance in this matter. All was made well due to the great deals from Angie's List and a long memory of an invaluable service.
