For customers who don't want to pay the "big" movers high minimum & premium rates for a small job. We are a small mover, so, If you aren't moving a full home, but just the big things from a home, office, apartment or maybe just a refrigerator or sofa, we're the moving company for you. Things went great. The movers called to tell me they were on their way so I did not have to wait for them. They were waiting for me when I got to the house. They carefully and promptly removed the chair from the house, loaded it onto the flat bed and drove to Mesa. Upon arrival, they unloaded the chair and took it to his apartment and even moved an existing chair to the bedroom so the recliner could go exactly where Dad wanted it.

excellent - moved bedroom furniture, large chair and some small items from mother's apartment into a care facility. Men were efficient, courteous and helpful. Would recommend to anyone - they showed up on time and did the job properly.

Excellent. The service was better than I expected. The two man crew showed up early and got us to the new location right on time. All pieces of furniture were completely protected and secured for the short 8 mile trip. We couldn't have made the move without them. Thanks to Darryn at ABC Small Move Specialists, our experience was better than we ever expected. Darryn was able to schedule a crew for our move on a very short notice. The crew was very capable of the job and were very professional. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone if you have a small move. I will use them again in the future.

Everything went smoothly. They loaded and unloaded our furniture and office equipment in a very professional and punctual manner. They were fast and did their work well. The price was right and I would definitely use the again.

This is the 2nd time I've relied on Small Move Specialists and I'm so glad Darryn & crew are still out there because I'll probably end up using them for at least a 3rd time as well. As anyone who's the caregiver for an aging parent can tell you, situations change fast. I needed furniture moved to the bottom floor of a townhouse and Small Move Specialists were just as reliable and trustworthy (and speedy) as I remember from the first time I used them. Good people. Don't go anywhere, Darryn. I appreciate having you to rely on.

From the first contact, my calls were promptly returned. I had a pick up date scheduled and furniture moved within just a few days. Appointments were on time and the cost quoted was accurate. All items arrived in excellent condition. The owner and work crew were personable and professional. I highly recommend their services and would definitely hire them again.

I had some moving that I wanted to do that involved various appliances. Darryn at Small
Moves did a great job and his guys handled my appliances with care . My friend
recommended this company purely based on reviews online and the fact that they
specialize in small moves and that they are insured. I contacted Darryn about a
week ago with an estimate in mind of what I would pay for the whole move. He
was the first I called and after discussing the plan, he quoted me $60 cheaper
than my estimate. I scheduled yesterday to be the day for the move and it was
completed without any problems.
Darryn gave me a 30 minutes heads up an he was very professional in his dealings and I was
happy to see the business owner putting his back (literally) into his work. The
skill set and knowledge was visible right away. They covered up the appliances
as required and transported it to the locations specified. Everything was done
to complete satisfaction. The whole move was completed in about 3 hours. I
highly recommend this company and they earned a happy customer that will
recommend and contacting them in the future with no hesitation.

When the movers arrived, the owner parked his large pickup half in the drive way leaving his towed car carrier trailer sticking out in the street. This made it difficult for cars passing to get by his trailer. At the start of the move, the mover (owner) acted visibily annoyed that he was moving our furniture. He and his crew (2 men and a young boy) treated the furniture very roughly resulting in scratching my wooden sleigh bed. The movers did not tell me about the damage, but I noticed it after they left. I couldn't wait until they were out of my house. I definately WOULD NOT recommend them for your moving needs.

"Some people just can't be pleased! Firstly, my truck was parked in the manor it was because that was the only place I could park. The flashers were on and cars could pass no problem. Secondly, If I didn't appear to be in the best of moods that day (which I usually am) I apologize. I can't always be mister personality, I had allot on my mind. We're not e-harmony we are movers. Third, we moved his furniture with the same excellent care we do all of our customers, that's why we have a "5-star" rating all over the web. The "young boy" he refers to is the 17 year old son of my number one guy who is on summer break from school. He is tightly supervised and handles light stuff for us and was an excellent mover. Fourth, there was no mention of any of these complaints while we were on the job, especially damage to the bed. He's never contacted me regarding that. If there was actual damage I would have addressed it. It's also curious as to why it took him a month to write this review if the experience was so horrible. Finally, every once in a while we run into a person who is just impossible to please regardless of what you do for them. A good example here is the price and the score he gave me on that. I gave him a rock bottom price below market and I'm sure he knows that if he called around for quotes. Also, It was a 50 mile round trip for us and I didn't charge him a typical fuel fee. So, If he can't even be honest about the "Price" score (which should have been an "A"), then what does that say about the rest of his review."

It could not have gone better. This was a somewhat unusual move in that I was able to arrange it 2 weeks before we left Wisconsin for Arizona. How was I able to do this? Angie's List of course. I needed a small move firm to do the job and in about 3 clicks I found Small Move Specialists in Mesa, AZ. Talk about the right guys for the job, Darryn Ruzicka and his team handled the move perfectly - from scheduling through the move itself. It was a fairly small job but it consisted of such a variety of items that the fact that everything was moved safely and efficiently earned a big thank you from me. And a big thank you to Angie's List, too. When we return to Wisconsin in April, we're going to use Small Move Specialists to do the reverse move.

This move has been complicated by the disposition of estate objects, and the need to store some items rather than move them from point A to point B. Darren seems to be the only mover in the area that doesn't huff and puff about a stop to deliver items between two points, Will be using him three times before this move is 100% complete. Very satisfied.

Job done without problems. The business end was flawless: i.e. price, timing and terms were as agreed. The main guy was on crutches (temporary thing, I'm sure he will be better soon) and was therefore only verbally directing the crew who were new to this. The owner clearly knew how to move pianos, but the equipment seemed sparse: aside from a piano dolly, a moving blanket, shrinkwrap, straps, and a landscaper-type trailer, there were no other special pieces of equipment - no heavy pads, etc. that I'd seen other piano movers use. My piano essentially rode directly on the bare wood bed of a trailer, nothing but the trailer's own suspension to dampen road vibrations. Oh well, it needed tuning anyway. I would recommend for inexpensive pianos, but not for highly valuable ones.

I called Small Move Specialist and asked if they could move a copier from one building to another (across a parking lot, maybe 1,000 ft). It's a large copier and very delicate, so we had no way of moving it on our own. They asked questions about the copier and said it would not be a problem.They asked when I needed the copier moved and I said anytime within the next week or so. What I liked is they offered to save me money on the move if I was flexible on the dates, and they did. They were able to charge less by doing my small move on the same day as other moves in my area (as it would cost them less in fuel if they didn't make a trip out for just me). They showed up on time, were very professional, and moved everything with no problems at all. I was impressed with their knowledge of how to move a copier as I had no idea that there was a special brace on the bottom that is used for that purpose. I will definitely use them again (for home and business).

I contacted Darryn via e-mail after reading so many fantastic reviews
on-line. He responded promptly to all of my messages and was a true
professional every step of the way. Unfortunately, Darryn was very sick with
bronchitis the day of the move but that didn't prevent him from showing up on
time and doing a fantastic job. I'm glad I listened to all the great reviews
and decided to contact him. I highly recommend Darryn and now know who I will be calling for my next
move.
