For the garage lighting, Rick suggested a range of options, and I picked one of the more expensive ones. He was very careful to make sure that I understood the cost of my choice (the bulbs are also expensive) and would be happy with it in the long term.
The fixtures I chose are special fluorescents with mirrors behind them to increase the illumination. Rick and his son came out to install them just as scheduled. They consulted me about the placement and put the new fixtures exactly where I need them. When they were finished, they carefully cleaned up the garage and the laundry room (attic access for wiring) so I was not left to deal with any mess.
The actual cost came in a bit under the estimate (which was itself much less than the budget I shared).
Overall, I was very pleased with his service and have no hesitation in recommending him.
Do yourself a favor, and save some money. Call Rick.
I will have more work for him in the near future.
