Prudential Arizona Properties, The Slagter Team

My husband and I relocated to Arizona from Colorado in February 2013. Renee Slagter from Prudential met me the morning after I arrived to show possible apartments to rent. She had already gathered much information from me on what our lifestyle was like, what type of area would we like to live in, how long did we want to rent, what our long-term housing goals were, where we worked and how long of a commute did we prefer. We toured several apartment properties recommended by her and I selected the one I liked best. All would have been a good fit based on our preferences, so she did a great job learning about our needs and matching those. In addition, she gave us a ton of resources, tips and information about the area. Renee stayed in contact with us throughout the year and offered to assist us with our home buying whenever we were ready and never pressured us to move forward. We decided we wanted to buy a home after living in the apartment for nearly a year and seeing what areas we liked best. Again, she talked through the process with us, provided us information on buying a home in Arizona, and asked us many questions to see what we wanted. She set up a portal that loaded listed homes for sale (she had also done this before we moved here with rentals in the area) that met our preferences and we reviewed and marked any we would like to see in person. She took us out several times viewing homes for sale and she explained unique nuances with Arizona properties. She helped us write up purchase offers and did a great job communicating with the sellers' agents to determine other offers pending and any other special situations. We ended up getting out bid on our first two offers due to our own hesitation, but she encouraged us and took us right back out each time. We found a home that fit our needs perfectly and she handled everything - from the inspection to the title work, she was on top of it all. She kept us informed of the progress and stayed in constant contact throughout the entire process. We love our new home and it fits us and our lifestyle perfectly! Renee Slagter is a fabulous realtor and I recommend her for any home buying or selling needs! I give her and her team an A as there was nothing I would have changed in the way she handled everything. We have purchased 4 other homes and had relocated to another state one other time, and I've never seen anyone go above and beyond like The Slagter Team did!
