Sprayed paver sealant on stainless steel & masonry in BBQ island, couldn’t fix it & refused to apologize. Then blamed us for damage resulting from their cleaning instructions. Refused any responsibility for their employee who used the exact same process AND stained the pavers he had originally cleaned. Walked off job without giving us a chance to review work & owner didn’t follow up until we emailed our dissatisfaction. An apology for the staining and inconvenience would’ve gone a long way. What I got was denial, blame and an attack on my integrity. They know how to do their work. They know less about taking reasonable care in their work. They know nothing about accountability and customer service. Stay away.

He did work for us last year with concrete pavers sealing and also put the product on my brand new travertine in the back of my home. I had to pay $3,000 to have that sealing they put down on my travertine scraped off because it turns the stones white and I found out it was not supposed to be used on travertine. The product when removed came off in sheets. After the $3000 the product still remains in large portions on my travertine and I will have to contract additional work with large machinery to remove the rest of this sealant. The contractor has even told me that he is unsure if the travertine will ever be right again. The additional work has been estimated to cost another $1,600. He has managed to ruin $10,000 worth of travertine. Being that the travertine is very porous, his sealant was so absorbed that it caused several shiny white spots to form that are dull in areas as well. Then my husband was going to hire him again for power washing and he said because we complained he wanted the full payment in advance ($600). It was very, very unethical.
Response from Pave Cleaner LLC
"The product we use can go on travertine. We do it all the time with no problems. We told her that her flooring needs to be completly dry in order for proper sealing process...she DEMANDED us to seal the floor regardless of what we told her. [member name removed] is a bad customer and I highly advise anyone doing work for her to be aware. Nothing you can do can satisfy her. We are a highly reccomended company. Also, if we are so bad why would you call again...hmmmm."

They weren't that expensive.  I should have known that you get what you paid for.  It was a horrible experience!  The guy was even rude and nasty.  I'm going to take him to court.  Other than ripping out the travertine, I have to leave it like this even though I have a beautiful backyard.  It basically will never be the same.  It was a lot of money for me.  I don't want anybody to go to that.  It's horrible!

Shane was prompt to give a quote and set up a time to do the job.  I explained to him that I do not want any sealant that I would have to strip and reseal every two years and I wanted to make sure he put a product that does not leave a film/residue.  He assured me his product would not leave a residue and would not need to be stripped.  He calculated the square foot to be about 400 sqft more than the other quote I received but he said he was going to do all exposed surfaces and he was about a 1000 dollars more than the flagstone installer.  I went with him because of his great reviews and a personal friend recommended him.  I wanted it done right!  He came out and stripped the old seal using a home depot stripper and the second day of him stripping the pool water turned green.  His guys did not know why and Shane response was "I am not a pool guy".  Additionally, the bottom of the pool was full of flagstone flakes which jammed my pool cleaner and took my pool guy hours to net out.  When I took my pool water to get tested, they said it contained organic solvents and lots of solids.  They advised I drain the pool and refill but when the weather was cooler.  This meant I can not use the pool safely till fall.  The final job contained patchy of shiny and dull flagstone- it just look odd.  I also noticed a film in the areas that were shiny.  Shane could not give me a straight answer on whether this product would peal off like the previous product and require to be stripped.  I called the manufacture who also could not give me a definitive guarentee that this product would need to be stripped.  He recommend a solvent wash to treat the dull and shiny areas.  Shane's guys came out again and sprayed more product and no wash per the manufacture.  I expressed my concerns to Shane and his response again was "I am not a pool guy and the patchy finish will improve with time.  I am left with flagstone looks really odd with areas that are brighter than others not all resembling the pictures on his website.  Do not be misled, Shane has no pride in workmanship or interest in customer satisfaction.

They were very polite and if they're going to be late or early, they call. They did their job. It was pricy but he told me that the next time he comes back and depending on my preference, the service should last 3-5 years and then the savings would be a lot of things because they don't have to do that much and they give you a discount too. I will use them again. They charged me per footage and he showed me pictures of his work.

Shane was quick to come out and give us a bid for the job.  He pressure washed and sanded the pavers.  He added sand where it was lacking.  He then sealed the pavers and travertine.  He did a great job.
