Oh my gosh! These guys went far above I ever expected. I rarely write reviews because most services today are mediocre at best but this is certainly not the case here. I was stunned and how efficient they operated, How relational they were with me and the workmanship that they did. I have a 2004 Honda Civic in which the transmission blew. Transmissions are always difficult to replace and have confidence in. Ray did the work. I jumped in the car and drove 1800 miles with zero problems. I could not of been happier. His honesty, His work, his prices and his efficiency were amazing. I would never take my car anywhere else!

It went smooth, very nice, perfect job.

My everyday driver is my 1984 Camaro. It's always been a solid reliable car until a week ago when it wouldn't start. I had replaced the battery and had alternator checked as well as my starter and it all checked out fine but my car still would not start. I was guessing at this point it would be a fuel issue so I HAD to contact a PROFESSIONAL to see if that was the problem.

 I seen the good ratings for Parrott on Angie's list and it just so happens to be a mile away from home. I called initially and spoke to Ray (owner) and explained my situation. He said he would be willing to take a look at it that day and even got it towed from my home to his shop for a reasonable price. He had my car most of the day (since it's a 1984 the diagnostics on it are a little more time consuming) but called and explained that my assumption was incorrect and in fact it was an ignition module that was blown. He gave me a reasonable cost and since I had no other choice I went with it and he did the job that day and I had my car by 5:30pm.

2 days later I was driving home and the car stopped and stalled in the middle of the street. I was obviously upset since I just had it repaired. I called and spoke to Ray and he was great about the situation. He got his tow guy to come down and tow my car back to his shop at no charge. Given it was the very end of his work day he took the time to let me know he will check it out and get back to me the next. Ray called me back the next day and it was only a wire that had been pinched during the first repair. He admitted it was an honest mistake and took care of it. He drove my car to my place of business and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I will be going back for future repairs as needed.

I've used Parrott Discount Auto Repair in the past because I know they are 100% honest in their recommendations of work to be performed and stand behind all work they do.  This was an expensive endeavor, but necessary by the age of the vehicle.
Ray gave me a comprehensive estimate detailing what should be done and what items could be done but weren't necessary.  I brought the vehicle in and we agreed on a time frame for completion.  The job was performed on time and correctly.
Parrott Discount Auto Repair is the type of automotive repair service where you can drive in with an immediate problem and usually get a diagnosis on the spot - like auto mechanics in the "olden days" instead of the large slick shops where the only person you ever talk to is the receptionist who writes up your order and usually misses parts and has no idea what you're talking about.  This guy knows what he is doing. 
He is my only mechanic and I rue the day he retires and closes up shop.

They're great. It didn't cost anything. He's sort of my ongoing mechanic, so he just said the key was worn out. I thought it was the whole key thing, but he said it was just the key and I have to throw that key away.

My husband love them. Everything was great. It was clean and they were professional and exact in what they said. They are local folks and we recommend them. We will absolutely use them again in the future.

Whenever I have called Ray, he has me bring my vehicle in right away for an inspection of the problem.  He comes right out and takes a look.  Sometimes it's been something real simple and not needing parts and he just makes an adjustment and sends me on my way without charge.  Othertimes, replacement of a broken part is necessary or further time-consuming diagnostics have to be performed.  He has taken me home himself on these occasions when it would have been too long for me to wait.
Ray's prices are fair and his work is top-notch.  What I am most impressed with though, is his honesty and commitment to his customers.  He is a mechanic reminiscent of the Good Old Days, when he'll make an adjustment or replace a missing screw and send you on your way without charge.  He is pretty much a one-man operation, so you know you are talking to the guy who will actually fix your vehicle.  You can have complete confidence that, if he determines a part needs to be replaced, it NEEDS to be replaced.  It will be done right.  It will be done in a timely manner.  He will stand behind everything he does.
