I turned my A/C on for the first time this season, and only warm air was being delivered. I was referred to NSC, a father/son company, by my retired A/C service tech. I called and spoke with Pat, the father. He said he was fully committed for the entire day but would see if his son could fit me in so that I didn't need go another day without A/C. His son Kevin called, explained there was a bit of uncertainty in the length of time he might need to spend on the job he was working, and told me he was making every effort to work me in before quitting for the day and promised to stay in touch. He called again a few hours later and said he was getting ready to head to my home. He arrived when he said he'd be there, he diagnosed the problem and put in a temporary fix, removing the broken capacitor and installing one that would at least do the job till the correct capacitor could be obtained and installed. He will return tomorrow, once the correct part is in his hands, and finish the job. I was impressed by how important my small job was to this company, how courteous both father and son were, and with their communication and integrity. I have already discussed an A/C vent issue that I'll be using them for as well. Their business card indicates they do both residential and commercial work. I can easily recommend them for the residential side.
