Overall, my experience was good. I had two guest bedrooms painted. I did not have the popcorn ceilings painted. However, the painter hit the ceiling in several spots with the roller. There is no way for me to correct this except to have the ceilings painted.

Joe and James were both in our home to assess a couple of projects. Joe replaced the balance on a couple of windows. James made a shelf in a cabinet and modified the electrical to install a microwave! He also moved and installed a chandelier and worked on a door. They were both prompt, meticulous and tidy. They honored their coupon AND gave me a senior discount! We already have scheduled future work! I especially appreciate their habit of confirming and announcing their arrival!

The technician performed the work well. Upon arrival and review of the work performed he quoted a price of $350. Without any warning he charged me $690 at the end of the project.

"Hello, Jim this is Joe the owner of this Mr. Handyman. The quote would have been labor only and not included materials. Our tech did say that you added additional work that was not in the original scope, however he should have let you know the added costs before doing any work. I agree with you in that this not acceptable, as it is our policy is to let the customer know all expected costs when the tech arrives or as soon as we discover any underlying issues that may incur added costs. Certainly not at the end when payment is collected. I will contact you to see what we can do to make this right."

The guys at Mr. Handyman helped us tremendously. My wife & I have been struggling to find someone who could help us with a couple of things before we put our house on the market to be sold. Apparently everyone else was either booked or simply denied our request. Then came Mr. Handyman! We were making our last calls before our house went live on the market & my wife ended up calling Mr. Handyman. They took the job with pure confidence & got it done right before we went live.
