With the pricing they gave me, you may as well schedule with CDC Pools. They get you in quicker and their pricing was pretty much the same. CDC Pools is a big company and you can count on them answering the phone, returning calls, and sticking to what they say. Ultimately, that's who I ended up switching to since Daniel kept canceling/moving back the job and didn't return calls in a decent amount of time. My personal experience with this company was horrendous. We were doing an "owner build". Out of all the subs we dealt with during our project, I was simply in disbelief at the unprofessionalism, lack of communication (not returning phone calls or texts for days), and straight out lying (even when confronted with what was put in writing). I typically don't leave a lot of reviews, but I was blown away by the way we were treated and am hoping to prevent this heartache for someone else. Daniel is the head of this company. His brother, Dave, was who first came out to look at our pool on June 28th. Dave said he and his brother worked together on pools. Dave proceeded to give me a bid for the Pebble Tec. We were leaving on vacation the following week, and I asked if they'd be able to fit us in the week we got back. Dave told me yes. When we returned home from vacation I reached out to Dave (that was July 8th...I'm looking back at the texts as I write this review). He responded the next day: (July 9) "Good morning! I will call you today! I'm working on assembling some people to get over there, then let you know what our schedule is! My brother (their owner) will also stop by today or tomorrow to take a look and get you a formal quote and also see the interior of the pool so we can be ready". Daniel came by and told me he wasn't sure they could do what Dave said as far as the schedule. He promised to let me know and get me a formal bid that night or the next day at latest. (July 10) Interior clean up of pool was supposed to happen today, Pebble Tec the next. Waited all morning for a response to my calls/texts about time they would be there. Dave finally responded saying he would call in 15 minutes. I texted him an hour later again, after he never called. I texted Daniel asking what time that day they were getting there to do the interior cleanup...no response. When he finally called, he told me it would actually be TWO WEEKS before they could do the Pebble interior. If he had told me that before we left on vacation, I would have had time to get someone else and already been done, but instead they waited until the day before we were ready to do Pebble to tell me...they didn't stick to their word, not by a long shot. I asked Dave to call me back to discuss. Still had not received the formal bid Daniel said he would send by day before. (July 11) FINALLY got formal bid from Daniel. It was $1,275 HIGHER than what I was bid by Dave. Called/texted Daniel and asked him to call me...no response. Called Dave and he said he'd call his brother and get back to me. Daniel finally called and told me basically those were his prices so too bad that Dave told me something different. I started looking into getting someone out to do our pool sooner. Unfortunately, because the Morris brothers waited until literally the day before they had promised, no one was available. (July 12) I get a text from Daniel saying: "I can move the pebble install up to Monday, July 22nd, will that work or did you find someone else?" (July 13) Called Daniel to solidify the date...no response. Called Dave who said he would make sure the date was still available. He called me back a few hours later and assured me the Monday, July 22nd date was mine. I had the speaker phone on so my husband could hear the entire conversation. Dave said he'd call his brother to see about Daniel coming out to see the pool to verify they didn't need to do the $600 interior cleanup (I had someone else do that). He called backand said Daniel said he could come out a couple days later to check. July 15th came and went with Daniel not coming out as promised. (July 16) Called/texted Daniel to see why he hadn't come out, and when he was coming. No response. Also called/texted Dave...no response. (July 17) Called/texted Daniel and Dave again. Finally got a text from Daniel, basically saying Dave has nothing to do with his business and shouldn't have given prices or scheduled anything. I sent Daniel the screenshot of the text he himself had sent me telling me he could do Monday the 22nd. He said we hadn't signed a contract so basically "too bad". I said, "But you told Dave we were scheduled for that date. Are you saying Dave LIED to me about you saying that?" His response..."That's what it sounds like." STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY...IF THIS IS HOW LITTLE THEY COMMUNICATE BEFORE A JOB, IMAGINE WHAT THEY WILL BE LIKE TO GET A HOLD OF YOU HAVE A WARRANTY ISSUE. Daniel has called his brother a liar. I don't know which is lying, but I will not be recommending them to anyone.

He is excellent. He is very thorough and very honest. If there are any issues he will sometimes take pictures for us and send us very detailed e-mail so it is very nice. We really understand what is really happening.
