MIke was very professional and responsive and even completed the job on the same day as the order. My computer had lots of issues so the task took longer than the hour provided for in the half-price $50 deal and there was an additional charge of $85 for the extra time. The whole process ended up taking over 4 hours, so it was still definitely a good deal. The computer is now back to original speed and responsiveness.

We set up a time to link computers and he made it easy to download the programs necessary to access my laptop and remove the malware he said was the reason for my computer being so slow. However, the time I paid for quickly ran out and he was not able to solve any of my problems in the time allotted. He wanted me to pay for additional time to continue to remove the malware. In the end, I removed the malware on my computer myself, using the program he allowed me to access. While I was able in the end to remove all the malware, my computer ended-up only marginally faster than before, and so the root problems were not really addressed.

I was impressed with his expertise, his patience when answering questions from a "non-computer" person, and his timely completion of the tasks. It was almost 2 hours of time that was spent cleaning up my computer.

Mike phoned to explain the procedure, then sent an email to get my permission to work on my computer remotely, then called again when finished to debrief me. Very thorough, professional, and friendly.

It went very well. He was very patient in working with me through scheduling. He was very nice and professional, and he did a great job with the tune-up. He gave me an overview of everything he repaired when all was said and done.

I purchased a special Angie's List package for $55 for a routine hour long checkup. Mike found some threats and for an additional hour's charge he fixed them. He worked more than two hours however. Because of previous Angie's List customers' comments, I felt comfortable about giving him control of my computer. He kept me in the loop constantly, with phone calls. I feel the cost was reasonable as I did not have to unhook my desktop and haul it to a local storefront and probably pay the same amount or more. I would definitely recommend using this service, and will probably call him again next year for a tune up.
