My ten year old computer crashed and I had no back-up of my personal files. I purchased a new computer system including laptop, tablet, printer, router, and external drive. Mike was responsive, knowledgeable, and personable. He came to my home and set up my new computer system and took my crashed computer with him to see if he could recover my personal files. He was able to recover all of my documents including pictures, music and email. He remotely transferred the recovered files to an external hard drive (I've learned my lesson). He was always readily available to discuss technical issues, answer questions and advice along the way. Overall, he made a stressful experience not as stressful. I felt like I had someone in my corner that I could trust. He offers exactly what his description says, honest, reliable and friendly services. I will use him again and recommend him to others.

This was an excellent experiance.  Mike was both pleasent and knowlegable.  He improved my computer performance, and gave me suggestions on what speed  to expect from the internet.  I will use him again in the future.

I responded to a 50% off coupon for computer analysis  from Angie's List.  The coupon was good for 6 months, but I did not respond right away due to my busy holiday schedule.  Mike responded right away, by email, with details of how to call him, what he would do and how long it would take.  He followed up again last week and the service was arranged for today.
He walked me through our initial conections, took control of my pc and asked me questions about deleting some of the programs.  He said he would call me back in an hour to review his findings.
I could watch as he performed all the necessay tasks and took notes to ask questions later.
He completed everthing within the hour and called me back to discuss what was done. 
Overall, he was knowledgable, a good listener, and explained everything in "plain" English-- no computer "jargon".
I would definitely recommend him to others, and would contact him again with any questions I might have with this or other
computers.

I was having MAJOR problems with my computer. Mike tried to  repair it remotely, but evidently it had a virus that effected administrator
controls and prevented him from making repairs. As promised, he did not charge for the time he spent when this remote repair attempt was not successful. He volunteered to pick up my computer from my home on a Friday afternoon and returned it to me on Monday?during the weekend between Christmas and New Year?s when many service providers were not working. In the end, he had to reformat my computer. When he delivered it he spent time setting up my email and other programs the way I prefer. He charged me only $275 for this repair, though I paid him more in light of the time he spent. He also has been responsive to some follow-up questions that I?ve emailed him.

Mike was great. Fixed computer the same day I contacted him. He was professional and very reasonable.  With all the scans he had to run, it took hours to fix but only charged us for the time he worked on it not scan time. Our computer is running great again!!!

I contacted Mike regarding the "PC Critical Alerts" .  When I clicked on the "PC Alert", it recommended repair downloads.  I was sceptical about downloads causing more problems so I contacted Mike.  He looked at my computer, saw the "PC Critical Alerts" and advised that it is definitely spam from my email provider.  Mike recommended closing this email account.
Mike is very knowledgeable and professional.  I highly recommend Mike and will definitely contact him if I have any future computer problems.

Overall it went well. I had what appeared to be both internet and internal problems and Mike was patient with the difficulties this posed at first. Once he got connected to my computer, everything went smoothly. He asked a few questions, then took over and went to work. (I went for a snack and let him do his thing.) MIke phoned when he was done and we went over the results. I had been having serious internet connection problems, slow running and freezing along with unusually high spikes in cpu usage indicating something big running in the background. It seems this fits the pattern of a virus, even though Norton 360 says my machine is OK. There may also be some connection problems with my cable company, hence the data log (download and upload speeds checked and logged periodically). If the Norton people can't find it, I'll hand over to Mike to chase it down and eliminate it. So now it's wait and see for a few days before I know what the next step is. I'm just glad Mike is there in the wings and thanks to Angie's list, I don't have to worry anymore about finding a reliable, trustworthy, capable and friendly tech guy!

Mike was a wonderful computer professional who provided his honest and informed decision on whatever you ask him.  I initially called to set up a date and time for the computer tune up.  The same night that I made the appointment, my computer contracted a screen locking FBI malware virus! I called Mike back to tell him about it and get an opinion on how to get it off.  He was honest about how the tune up did not include virus issues, but he could help for additional charge.  I would have taken him up on the offer but he had appointments already scheduled for that evening.  I chose to get a friend to walk me through a solution.  When my appointment did come, we chatted about how I was successful at getting the malware off and his opinions on what I did.  Not all computer repairmen would honestly tell you that you did the right thing.  Some would opt to sell you something!  Mike was efficient with cleaning up my computer and restoring it to the right speed in approximately 1.5 hours.  He also highly recommended a free software product and installed it instead of the big name product.  I was very satisfied with my experience.
