Worse service .. charged me money and left the unit as I left it.. does not work .. I have them 3 times in 6 wk and payment everytime yet unit still not working.

I highly recommend John's Heating and cooling to everyone. They've always taken great care of us, and always try to save us money. Every single tech they've ever sent out to service our system has been fast, friendly, knowledgeable, on time and super helpful. This would include Mel, Ivan, Davic, Brian and all the others. 1) The first call apparently went to an answering service - they are not helpful and I do not know why John's continues to use them. Why not be contacted directly to scheduling and/or dispatchers? The experience of leaving messages and someone will contact you later is not comforting when in an emergency. 2) The dispatch people were helpful and seemed to know what they were doing - except telling me the technician is about done with a call and not having that person show up for over an hour is disconcerting. The frustration level is going up when I am expecting a call at any moment and it doesn't happen. Just be a bit more up front with your customers. 3) The technician (Damian) did a great effort to determine why our AC wasn't working and once found fixed it quickly. He communicates well by keeping me abreast what he doing to solve the problem - I appreciated that. 4) In general, I have been happy with the service from John's last night and in the past too. They have capable and pleasant people working for them. The only minor complaint is (see #1 above). I gave 4 stars for that reason, but Damian and dispatch crew rate 5 stars.

The work itself was excellently perform by Ivan and a trainee. Our AC went out recently on a very hot afternoon. Thus these two guys get 5 stars. The initial call was a mess - Carlos was rude from the start. When told we had no AC, he said the best we could do was am appointment the next day. You gotta be kidding. I told him I needed a fix ASAP and he only got more rude. Thus he gets no stars. I asked for a supervisor who called me shortly thereafter and arranged for Ivan to come out within the hour. And then he followed up with me - sorry did not catch his name , but he deserves 5 stars. I have use John's since 2014 and this is the first time we have been treated as such, but will use them in the future. Would recommend this company to anyone who needs heating and cooling service.

The responsiveness was phenominal. I called at 5 AM and the technician arrived at about 9AM He was very courteous and professional. He repaired the problem in about an hour. I was very happy with the tech, the company, and the result

We recently had a roofing company come out to do an inspection of our flat garage roof. The roofing contractor told us we would need a re-coat of the garage roof including around and under our air conditioning condenser which sits on our garage roof. John’s Refrigeration had installed this new a/c system approximately 2 years ago so I called Sergio who is a supervisor at John’s Refrigeration and talked to him about moving the air conditioning condenser so that the roof coating could be applied. Sergio told me that they would help us, he told me that we are a customer of theirs and they take care of their customers which was so nice to hear from him. What Sergio did was to talk to the roofing contractor so they would be able to coordinate with them on moving the a/c unit so the coating could be applied. It was a time of the year where the temperature was getting very hot during the day and Sergio knew they would have to disconnect the a/c unit and move it out of the way and that we would be without air conditioning for most of the day. Sergio and John’s Refrigeration did all they could to make this transition as quick as they could with the idea that they had to move the a/c unit and then come back the same day after the coating had dried to put the a/c unit back and hook it up and then to recharge the system. Sergio gave the roof all the time it needed to dry properly and by the time they came back it was starting to be toward the end of daylight. We appreciated this so much as it gave extra time for the roof coating to dry properly. I noticed that even though it was at the end of Sergio and his men’s work day they came back with the same courteous manner that they were in the early morning of that same day. As I am sure that you are aware, workers after they are tired and have worked a long day are not always as courteous as they were many hours before. But these men were the same courteous people as they were in the early morning. By the time they were done it was almost dark but Sergio said they wanted to get things done right not just fast track it. Everything went along without a hitch with John’s Refrigeration Company and we want to thank John’s and Sergio with his men for going the extra mile with a smile. It is not easy to find a company that sticks to their word and gets the job done and done right. Thank you. Conrad F.

Amazing! The technician was clean cut and professional. He explained everything clearly and also write out several options for me, so I could make the best decision. Not only have they replaced units for my business, but also maintained older ones for both commercial and my home. I highly recommend John's Refrigeration for both quality and integrity.

I would highly recommend Johns. I wanted a new ac unit going into Arizona summer. I was happy with the price and service! Ivan was great and even cleaned up. As a mom of two young children that was really helpful. The whole process was easy and convenient.

The service tech came to the house and informed us we need a new u it and new air handling unit. An appt was set to discuss this with their sales department. In the day of the appt we sat for over 2 hours waiting for Michael to come. He did not show! We had even invited another couple to come from Mesa as they too need a new unit. We were very disappointed. I phoned their office at about 4pm to see if Michael was going to come only to be told he had scheduled other clients because I didn't answer my phone in the AM the day of the appointment. He stated that he called me from his cell phone. I never answer calls from strange numbers. I had confirmed the appointment the day prior with Gwen who stated "Michael will be there between 2 and 4pm". This is so unprofessional especially since the app6had been confirmed the day before.

I would highly recommend. Even though they were not the cheapest, cheaper is not always better. They were very professional and knowledgeable. After the installation they cleaned up and you would never have known they had been there. They had a very tight squeeze of where the new unit had to be placed by the crane, and not a limb was disturbed on the nearby orange tree.

I thought the salesman was very nice and the 2 installers were great. However, there was a bit of left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing in terms of the office. I received conflicting views of how much I owed and it seems there was not optimum communication between the salesman, the office staff, and the scheduler. I am still waiting for a call to schedule some follow-up service after 5 days.

I was incredibly happy with them and would definitely use them again. I want to call them because they said they would be checking with me in 30 days and they haven't. I was really impressed by their service even down to the fact that their installers wore booties on their feet so dirt was not brought into my house. They were really good. Their price was comparable. They were really professional and considerate.

Would have given F rating, but office staff was genuinely nice. Technician Chris informed us there was a restriction in air handler - cost to replace $1,900. This turned out not to be true. 2nd contractor explained if there was a restriction that no cold air would be blowing. No apparent leaks but unit low on freon. Recharged unit and wrapped piping into building with insulation - cost $200 and unit is working perfectly.

One of my two 18 year old split AC units was not cooling very well. I called Johns because of their good reviews and because of their availability to respond quickly. The Johns technician appeared professional and courteous - wore shoe covers and took care to clean any messes. However, after about 30 mins of investigation the tech informed me that I had a leak in the outdoor (condenser) coil that could not be repaired. He even showed me what appeared to be a small oil spot on the coil fins indicating the leak location. His guidance, due to the age of the system, was to get it replaced. He advised that their estimator could be out the same day to quote a replacement. I know that I am living on borrowed time with an 18 year old unit so I agreed to have a new system install quoted. I also called another HVAC repair company (Schiller Heating and Cooling) to confirm the leak diagnosis and get a second opinion. The Schiller technician inspected the system and did not find any leaks. He recharged the system with R22 for a very reasonable price and the system has been cooling better than ever for the past month.
