They did the job, but the price was incredibly high. I feel as though, although they were professional and punctual, the price they charged me could have paid for a brand new computer. I don't know anything about computers, and I feel that they took advantage of me. They talked me into buying a battery I did not need, and I would certainly not use them in the future.

The repair people did not put Service Pack 3 on the new hard drive. Had to download and/or re-install a number of programs. However, we don't know the file names for program information such as our email addresses, web browser bookmarks, the I-tunes library, etc. With great good luck I found our web browser bookmarks. Geek Squad does not deal with Mozilla programs such as Firefox and Thunderbird. Had to take the computer back for nearly a week while they tried to figure out what was causing it to freeze up after the hard drive was replaced. All the files and folders from the old drive were put into one folder called "Data Transfer" which makes it much harder to find things.
