Run don't walk away from this company !!!
We chose this company because they were a small family business and he is a US Veteran. Our neighbor said she was happy with their work years ago, we saw what they did there and it looked fine. However their prices were not even close to hers. They admitted that if work was slow the prices went up to pay their bills and vice versa.
When they arrived to take the drawer fronts and cabinets off the hinges, we asked why they were not numbering the doors, the reply was " we do this so often we just know where they go" that proved to be very untrue.
Next there was literally no taping, again when asked" we do this so often and I do better free hand" Again, untrue.
The side of the cabinet next to the refrigerator and the washing machine were forgotten.
The drawer backs were not painted and when asked about that " who sees those" so they pulled the drawers out and painted around the outside never removing the drawer front. It is awful, never sanded just threw paint on
The toe kicks were not sanded either and look terrible we have pictures of all this. The top and bottom of the toe kicks were not even touched , just the middle
He then gave us crown molding at "no charge" the pieces do not fit together, not even close
The cabinets continued to show the grain so they would just roll paint over them while they were on the hinges in the house
The cabinets have bubbles in some places and the bottom edges were obviously setting on some kind of cloth to dry and stuck to that cloth
The cabinets were never hung straight, the hinges are covered in paint drips
When they painted the bedroom with paint we purchased (because what they were using bled through and did not cover) no taping again The baseboards have paint drips on them
They did not put the ceiling fans back together after we asked about it twice
We had them apply 2 more coats after they called the job "finished"
The stair spindles still have spots where you can see the original stain
They painted right over the vents in the rooms as well as the metal window frames after I had asked them to tape those off.
At this point we said good by and now will have to pay someone else to "fix" what we already paid for.

Husband and Wife team. The time estimate was about a week and a half. Upon returning with the doors and drawer facings they looked almost great .
I could see the wood grain and that was what I liked. But upon hanging I could see that spots of paint had come off in the move, perhaps due to not protecting them properly in transport or stacked when paint was still tacky.
The pewter knobs were put on,many where not drilled at the same levels. One door was even hung higher to make up for the difference in knob height. I asked for these to be fixed which he did. I had small knobs for the small doors over the stove and refrigerator and sink cabinets but the small and large knobs where screwed on next to one another. these then had to be put back on the correct doors.
A 3 ft piece of Wainscot needed to be matched to the small counter on the other side of the kitchen. I cam home and it was painted and nailed up already but it was not the same pattern. He didn't not recognize this, I asked to have it taken down. His response was" I was glad I could even find a piece close to what you already had"
I pointed out the few doors that needed but a pinhead size spot of touch ups, He went over the 3 doors with a roller while they were hanging. One came out wavy and with a thick orange peel look. The grain no longer showed through. The other 2 were also paint heavy no wood grain showing through and he told me there was No grain on these anymore. I dont agree.
They then had to come back and fix it a second time but now it had drip marks pooling at the bottom.
I then asked to have the door taken down and redone, hoping they would take it back strip it and SPRAY it and return with it looking how it did the first day (minus the missing spots of paint) They proceeded to do the Fix on my porch and used a roller again and blow dryer .The husband had given me the silent treatment and his wife was the one communicating with me. By this 3rd time I just wanted to be done with the entire thing, as it still looks thickly painted. I had to also have the front door painted over again as I could still see the old color . The excuse, my lighting in the hall was poor. I expect painters would have their own lighting for just these issues.. Basically I feel they lost their interest and just wanted to get this job complete and paid and go on to another job. I am still finding spots on the wainscot to touch up . I have friends also make the same observation of a lack of attention to detail and quality of the job.

Originally emailed to get an estimate. This was done timely. Total time for job was longer than expected due to some scheduling conflicts (mostly mine). The cabinets look great, it was a difficult job since they are very heavy wood and the color of the wood was difficult to cover.
Overall the job turned out great, they came back to adjust the hinges since some were not quite straight, and the weight of the doors caused some to shift.
My only complaint was that almost every time we had a scheduled appointment they were late. Once it was two hours. I understand how things can come up unexpectedly, but communication about this is really important, especially when I had set aside the bulk of several days for this project. Maybe it's just me, but having respect for my time is critical to good service.
We do love the results!!

It went well - They are very considerate and made it a point to work with us to be sure their time in the house was convenient. Ours was a large job so if time is a factor, discuss with them so you have a realistic timeline but I have absolutely no reservations in recommending them. I would definitely use them again. They took my drab peachy aged kitchen from drab to fabulous.

NOTICED THE WORK HE DID ON OTHER HOUSES IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND THEY LOOKED GREAT. THE COLOR CHANGE MADE TO MY HOUSE HAD A DRAMATIC DIFFERENCE.
