We communicated via text. Francisco arrived on time. He brought his own supplies. He seemed non-plussed when I expected him to make two beds and wash a few dishes. He later texted that he intended to charge me extra for having to perform those chores. He did not dust. He did not sweep. He mopped around chairs and furniture rather than moving them. He did not dust furniture, windowsills, baseboards, etc. He used a dirty rag to wipe one dresser, and a mirror, leaving them scummy and watermarked. The same with the bathroom counters. He did not move baskets or trash cans on the floor to sweep under and behind them. He did not shake out or vacuum small area rugs or move them to sweep/mop. He did not move or dust under items or do an adequate much less thorough job on anything, including the bathrooms, and should not be recommended as a cleaner. He found money on my kitchen counter and TOOK it and left my home, leaving the back door wide open (I have a dog) without checking with me. I was in the laundry room the entire time he was here and I told him that was where I would be. He "finished" in about two to two and a half hours (I'm not sure when he left), but never checked with me and took the money he found without permission, which is THEFT. I would not have paid for the job without having him at least re-do the floors, properly. I had to re-make the beds (he obviously didn't know how to make a bed) and re wash the dishes, dust my entire house, sweep, vacuum and mop, all services which I had expected to be done and which I INADVERTENTLY paid for, as he TOOK money he found for the job he did not perform. If possible I'd give negative five stars as my rating. I am terribly disappointed that I hired this contractor through Angi's List, which I trusted to have screened and vetted their contractors thoroughly. I want a full refund and compensation for the trauma of having someone steal from me. I feel violated. I am also disappointed to have to communicate with Angi's List customer service via email, an impersonal and demoralizing experience on top of what I've already endured.
