We hired this company to paint the interior of our home, mostly the major living areas and 2 bedrooms. We were told the job would take about 3 days. Monday came and only 1 painter showed up eventually another guy showed up around 10 and both men were done for the day by 3:30. I had noticed quite a few things that were wrong and voiced these concerns to Tyler ( the owner I believe) he assured me all of these concerns would be addressed and corrected. Tuesday came and still only 1 painter...... Tyler contacted me on Tuesday informing me this would take longer and there would be a whole new crew on Thursday. So by end of day Tuesday only 1 other bedroom and part of the hall and stairway were semi completed and still my intial concerns had not been corrected. Wednesday at 12:47 the painter says to me well it looks like I am done here packs up and leaves. After he leaves I notice there is literally paint all over the my stairs, under my baseboards ( and on the carpet) all over my door handles ( which I was told all doors would be pulled off the hinges and sprayed these were not) literally tan coming through the gray paint, paint all over my crown moldings and baseboards, and still my concerns from Monday were not addressed. I later found out on Monday they had sprayed the room ( which I was told it would all be rolled) and my daughters ceiling fan was now pink from the paint mist, and my antique dresser now has paint speckles all over it. I called Tyler and requested he come over to look at the work as it was not acceptable, he did come over and stated that Mike ( the painter) was an exterior painter not interior ( there is a huge difference) I informed him I did not want him or anyone else he had sub contracted from god knows where back in my home. At that point asked me to pay him for the materials which he stated was $790 let me tell you the amount Of paint that he provided was not $790 worth and I was not going to pay for a half done paint job. I agreed on $500 ; later I found the ceiling fan covered in pink paint and told him I would stop payment as this was the last straw. He did offer to clean my carpets himself and clean my furniture but honestly it just isn’t worth it I will fix the problem myself. He did call back after I told him I was going to stop payment To come the extra paint that he informed me he didn’t have a use for which I was completely fine with. I would be very careful when choosing someone to paint your home, I’m not entirely sure where they find these people. I would not recommend using them unless you want to end up Paying someone to fix their mistakes!
