I cannot recommend more highly Deon's Installations than my comments above state. We are so pleased with his workmanship and professional opinions to make sure that our retirement home flooring came out perfect. I plan on using his company on my two rental properties as well in the near future.
It you want a very great job for your home, I would highly recommend Deon's flooring.
The address below is my business address. The flooring was actually installed in my home in North Scottsdale. The nature of my business (forensic consulting) does not permit giving out my home address.

Deon is the best and his team that works alongside him is as well.
Professional, dependable, and will do what it takes to make you happy, but no pushover.
We're anxious to use them again!
From the time I got Deon's bid until they completed the job, the outstanding communication from Deon was very welcome.
They arrived on time, and got right to work. When they left, except for the beautiful new floor, they cleaned up so well you would have never known they were here.
Deon is a fantastic carpenter and although I had some pretty odd angles for him to deal with, all his miter cuts are perfect.
I'd hire this contractor again in a heartbeat. They do great work and they are great people.
We asked for 3 references. I called them. They were all good, but for very expensive flooring jobs. I wish we had gone to meet the people and look at the jobs as well as ask how he treated them- like did they leave while he was working in their homes.
Ah but hindsight is always better.....
The first day Deon felt it necessary to tell us all about his medical conditions and hurting body parts. We did not understand why he felt this was necessary!
Afther that first day, Deon quickly showed us that he did not feel comfortable with us being in our home while he worked in our home. We were not going to leave a stranger in our home!!!!! Besides we had no where to go. I am disabled and my husband is retired.
We wanted to keep an eye on what was happening as is our right. We had a bad experience with another flooring company and didn't want it to happen again. However, we did not hover over Deon nor his worker.
Through out a period of a couple of days, he refused to meet with us after the job to tell us what was happening the next day. Instead he left as quickly as possible. I would email him and he began taking anything I wrote in a negative way.
For example, we have windows across the front of our living room and on the east side as well. He left the curtains open and blocked us from closing them with furniture, flooring and tools that were piled up in the way the first night.
When I emailed Deon and mentioned that it made us feel exposed like goldfish in a bowl he took offense and said I was accusing him of being a bad contractor. Also he said we should be able to do something ourselves instead of whining about it to him.
The relationship became worse as he became more abusive in tone and verbage online. He walked off the job 5-30-13 without any warning and without finishing the job.
Then he threatened us with a mechanic's lein and told us he had a cease and desist order against us saying we were not to hire anyone else to finish the job until we paid him what he felt he was owed.
We finally paid him $1.000 more and said good-bye.
Besides the names he called us and complaining that we whined all the time he complained that our house was dusty and there was kitty hair on the floor behind a table and a dresser. (We have a cat-had three cats recently but lost 2). That's the only reason we know that he left because though we reached out to him asking him to come sit with us and explain what the problems where he refused.
He does not know how to communicate with clients whether in a positive way or in a way that he is telling them what is happening the next day.
There is a lot more that happened but I won't go into it all here.
He left us in a bind with our flooring job not completed, the floors dirty, the carport where he last worked dirty, parts of flooring left out on the carport, laminate and trim stacked in the house in inconvenient places (he just put them there he didn't ask where was the best place to put them), and some problem areas that weren't done right that will have to be redone.
The worker he had helping him, TJ, did most of the work and was quiet and respectful towards us.
I would NOT recommend Deon Miller to do anything in your home. He comes off as nice then changes without reason.
"FIRST AND FOREMOST I BELIEVE AND KNOW THAT I HAVE "ALWAYS" CONDUCTED MYSELF AND MY BUSINESS WITH THE HIGHEST PROFESSIONAL ETTIQUETTE. I WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO IN A BRIEF, FACTUAL, AND TRUTHFUL MANNER TO THIS TROUBLED INDIVUALS REVIEW. I WILL NOT GIVE THIS REVIEW AND CREDIBILITY BY DEBATING THE DETAILS OR THE MANY FALSEHOODS INCLUDED IN THIS REVIEW. I WILL STATE THAT I DISCONTINUED WORKING IN THIS INDIVIDUALS HOME DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE HOME WAS EXTREMELY UNSANITRY DUE TO NUMEROUS PETS DIRTYING THE FLOOR FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. THIS INDIVIDUAL WAS ALSO VERY UNGRATEFUL FOR THE FACT THAT I SAVED THEM SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS BY TAKING THE OLD LAMINATE FLOORING APART AND REMOVED AND REPLACED ONLY THE PET DAMAGED FLOORING INSTEAD OF REMOVING AND DISPOSING OF ALL OF THE OLD FLOORING AS SEVERAL OTHER TRADESMAN SAID THEY WOULD DO. I DID COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION OF ALL OF THE LAMINATE FLOORING AS THEY HAD ALSO HAD 2 RECENT FLOODINGS OF THE OLD FLOOR. ONCE THIS WAS COMPLETED AND THE HOUSE WAS PROPERLY SAFE FOR THE HOME OWNERS I DISCONTINUED WORKING. THE CUSTOMER ALSO WANTED OTHER REPAIRS DONE AND UPON INSPECTING THESE OTHER AREAS OF THE HOUSE I DISCOVERED EVEN MORE UNSANITARY CONDITIONS THAT I BELIEVE THAT NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO WORK WITH. I WILL STAND BY ALL OF MY DECISIONS AND ACTIONS WITH THIS MATTER. I WOULD ALSO ENCOURAGE THAT YOU LOOK AT THIS PERSONS REVIEW HISTORY AN YOU WILL QUICKLY SEE A PROPENSITY FOR THIS INDIVIDUAL TO GIVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. TRUTHFULLY YOURS M. DEON MILLER DBA DEON'S INSTALLATION"
