Delicate Rug Care

This was our second time using DRC. We purchased a ~30 year old traditional Moroccan rug. It was in good condition but obviously had some wear and a few stains. We called Jacob before the purchase and explained the condition and concerns, and he provided some great information so we could make an informed buying decision. We brought the rug to him immediately. He gave us a completion date and it was ready a day earlier. He called us to let us know it was done and schedule a pick up time. The rug turned out great. We will go back without question.

We spoke to Jacob on the phone before going in and he took the time to explain the cleaning/drying process and how it and his equipment helps yield the best results. We brought our rug to his shop in Mesa. It was easy to get to and find. He inspected the rug with us prior, took note of any stains or damage, and took several pics of the rug. He was very realistic how what he could and could not clean/fix and did not over-sell or over-promise. In addition to being dirty from average use, the pile of our rug had been matted from traffic. This made the rug look dirtier, and patchy from different angles. Jacob was able to comb the pile as part of his cleaning and correct most of the direction. We are very happy with the results. Jacob completed the cleaning a day before promised. The rug was nicely wrapped which made taking it home easy. His hours are earlier in the day (which was more convenient for us) but he made himself available if we needed to drop off or pick up later in the day. We will take our other rugs to Jacob in the future.
