Ray is a very kind man. He does GREAT work. He may not be the fastest on the planet. Don't walk in there and expect it next week.  PLAN ahead. but his work is wonderful I have used him multiple times. I recommend him ALL the time.  And is prices are less than most.

Impeccable service

I have 6 dinning room chair seats to have reupholstered. The chairs were of high quality built in North Carolina in the 70's. The material on the chair cushions was very very worn. I went to 5 upholstery shops. Crandell's (Ray) was the most reasonable, $35 per chair. The work was completed on the day Ray said it would be completed. The workmanship was OUTSTANDING. Ray did not try to raise the price or change the game. Ray's price included the foam replacement. I brought my own material.
I also had 4 table pads that had seen better days. Ray and Ryan re-covered these pads with the result being: the pads looked brand new. Ray charged $150 for this and supplied the covering material. To buy these pads would be more than $500.
These guys are good and I give them my highest recommendation. Thanks Guys!

They did an excellent job. I was reasonably close, so they picked it up and delivered it to me. They took good care of me.

He not only recovered them. He picked them up and returned them within a few days. Very pleased with results.

Ray stayed late waiting for me to drop off the sofa. He promised it in two weeks and called one week later telling me it was finished.
I picked it up that day and it looks fabulous!

He recommended a place to purchase the fabric. I took it to them and they put it on. He had a lot of confidence in doing this project. He also did it for less than other quotes I had received.

Ray is very professional and very kind. He is, by far, an A-1 upholsterer, and his work is excellent. He has even been rated the best by a local retailer and teaches upholstery classes. He is prompt and has very fair pricing as well.
