We wanted to replace our carpet with hard floors, thinking laminate might be the easy-care, dog-resistant solution for us. We stopped at Toliver's in Mesa, and Esther showed us different laminates while we visited about our lifestyle and needs. As dog people, we had suffered the ravages of many years of puppies, illness, chewers... you get the picture. She asked if we'd considered vinyl, and our first response was NEVER in the living room. That's for kitchens and bathrooms! But she showed us samples that were quite attractive and sent us home with the samples to study for a few days. Online research revealed that the overwhelming majority of people who purchased the Earthscapes vinyl were very happy with the appearance and ease of care. So we decided to give it a shot. The installers arrived on time and did an excellent job of removing the old carpet and installing the vinyl, creating a graceful transition between the new vinyl and the original vinyl in our kitchen. They were finished that day. It looks like a wood floor but is quieter and a breeze to clean. We'll definitely call on Toliver's again when we're ready to replace the rest of our flooring.
