My Daughter has used the same Auto shop for years for all kinds of repair on her cherished 1976 Chevy Blazer (that she got for her 16th birthday) in 1978. She trust them and they always try to be accommodating and punctual.

Took my husband?s car to Bud?s Automotive Center under advisement of the auto dealer (Mesa Auto Exchange aka Mesa Truck and Auto) because the dealer said they would honor the warranty (which expires in 6 days) from the dealer. Bud?s called him (the only time they called) and said problem was diagnosed to be a valve cover gasket. Bud?s explained that the repair was around 88 dollars and this would be less than the warranty deductable. Bud?s added that the warranty was not a good one and would want to send someone to verify all work urging him to not use the warranty since 88 was less than a 100. My husband agreed, and was told the car should be ready around 11 am and they would give him a call. Four hours later, he called and found the car was ready. We went to pick up the car and Bud?s said it would be about 130 dollars. He said he quoted us for a single overhead cam, but our car was really a dual overhead cam. My husband questioned it because now it was above the cost of the warranty deductable, and the response was an argument. A week later, the car was leaking again. We took the car to a different mechanic to discover that the gasket was never repaired, further there were two other leaks that should have been spotted. Had Bud?s repaired it correctly and spotted the leaks we would have paid the 100 dollars deductable and not 700 dollars in repairs. Bud?s was also the place where the dealer took the car to fix a warning light that kept appearing. Eventually we took it to another repair shop and the problem magically went away.

They are extremely honest and the actual cost was less than the estimate by about $50 to $75 dollars. We have had other things done there too and they always do a good job for us. They are an established and reputable place. I would recommend them.

When I called him I told him that my electrical system wasn t working very well. He told me to bring the car in. He found that only the battery was worn out and that I needed to change it. He is a very reliable and honest person.

A 2003 Chevy Malibu had a cracked manifold. The owner offered to show me the crack before he booked the repair. I felt confident he was honest and did not come beforehand. He offered again when we picked up the car. I have had no problems.
