Nathan is awesome. He installed a faucet last year and checked all the valves under the sink, replacing a couple that were sketchy. Had an issue over the weekend with a community-wide water main break and had no water to my kitchen sink for two days. He came out today and fixed it.

It was really hard, and huge job, and they charged exactly what he stated the first time, they just did a wonderful job. They were by far the most reasonable as far as price as well.

Nathan Voirin, Blue Collar Plumbing, provided the type of service you expect when hiring a service provider. He arrived on time, was very pleasant and professional. After showing him the issues, he made some recommendations and then proceeded with the repair work. It was completed in a timely manner, everything worked properly, and his fee was very reasonable.

We hired Nathan at Blue Collar Plumbing to put a whole house filter and hose bib in the garage. Nathan was a pleasure to work with. He showed up on time and was very professional. Nathan's work was done in a timely manner and he kept his work area clean. When my kids interacted with him he was very friendly and polite. As an added bonus, Nathan was able to connect the hose bib to both the filter and hot water heater. So now we are able to get filter hot or cold water outside. We were very impressed with Nathans work and will be using him for all our plumbing needs.

We had a 10 year old water heater that was full of sediment to the point where it would not drain to allow me to inspect the anode. In searching for a plumber to clear the sediment and inspect and replace the anode we found Blue Collar Plumbing by asking our State Farm insurance agent for a recommendation (prior to joining Angie's List).

Nathan Voirin, owner of Blue Collar Plumbing was contacted and arrived on the agreed upon date and time. After examining the water heater Nathan gave us a quote to drain the water heater, remove the sediment, and replace the anode. After discussing that job as an alternative to replacing the 10 year old water heater we decided to go with a new unit with a 12-year guarantee for $850.00, installed. Nathan set a date to return with the new water heater, arrived on that date, completed the installation in a very satisfactory manner and removed the old water heater carcass.

We asked Nathan for a quote to replace four 23-year old hose bibs that were soldered in place and whose connections were leaky. One of them had a quick-connect fitting in place that I wanted removed. Nathan quoted $130.00 to replace all four bibs with new units that had quarter-turn full-open to full-closed valves, and we agreed to have that done.

We then asked Nathan what he would charge to re-route the drain from our clothes washer to bypass our septic system and drain into the yard, thereby taking considerable burden off the septic system and providing additional water for trees and plants? Nathan quoted $125.00 to do that job, to which we agreed.

Nathan returned on the agreed upon date and completed the work in an extremely satisfactory manner. The hose bib replacement took only about 20 minutes and are outstanding. The washer drain job took another four hours, including a trip to obtain some fittings to tie in the vent, and clamp the new drain to the outside wall with the proper grade for drainage, and is exactly how we wanted it installed.
