BEST ALL AROUND ROOFING

Ron Sargent took my $19,000.00 and ran. A friend referred Sargent Best all Around Roofing to me, so I called them and Ron Sargent came out. He inspected my roof and said I needed a total new roof. He did the contract on his i-pad and said he would send me a copy with pictures. Never did. Mr Sargent also said he would contact my insurance company so they could help pay. Never did. I asked for a start date estimate and he told me he was going on a cruise for 10 days and it would be a couple weeks. Over a month later I had heard nothing from him. By this time I had contacted my insurance company and they sent an adjuster who informed me I did not need a total new roof just repairs. I contacted Mr Sargent and told him I wanted my $19,000.00 back and did not want him doing my roof. He proceeded to tell me he had been on the cruise and then got sick but was going to start my roof next week. I told him no I don't need a total new roof and I don't want him doing my roof. I just want him to send my $19,000.00 back. I waited patiently to receive the money and nothing. Sept 19th was the last time Mr. Sargent contacted me and that was to thank me for the money. He is just holding my money. Now I find he has done this to others. It truly makes me wonder about The Registrar of Contractors who say they don't feel he has done anything to be reprimanded for and with a hand full of complaints the BBB still gives him an A+ rating. Why? If you value your hard earned income stay away from this Sargent Best All Around Roofing.

If I could give Sargent Roofs DBA Best All Around Roofing (Sargent Enterprises, INC) negative stars, I would. I received a free customary estimate from owner, Ron Sargent on 1/24/2022. NO start work date was ever discussed, even though in their email they stated that they would schedule the roofing project right away. Therefore, NO materials were ordered and NO work was ever started at my home. My neighbor also received a quote and they were insulted by the high estimate. I noticed inconsistencies in my conversations with Ron and also found out that he had misrepresented himself. On 1/28/2022 I started to have second thoughts about using this company and asked for a refund of the $10,000.00 cash deposit that I had given Austin Sargent, 3 DAYS PRIOR. My texts and phone calls went unanswered. This all was happening during a rain storm. So I had no other choice but to hire another roofer to do the job, which was finished in a timely manner. The lack of reimbursement of my deposit has put me in a financial bind. I DO NOT recommend this unprofessional company.

All I can say is look no farther, if you find Ron, stop here don't call anyone else. He by far is the absolute most professional roofing contractor I called, and I called about six. He immediately responded and gave me the best and most detailed bid of all the contractors I called. He was extremely detailed and knew what he was talking about. His crew was literally on the job inside the week and they knocked out a pretty big job in three days. All the other contractors stated the job would take well over a week and a half. Ron and his crew knocked the job out of the park, everything was clean and protected, and the icing on the cake was that his bid was better than any of the other contractor. The BL, you can absolutely trust his service and quality. I told Ron he could use me as a reference anytime. Sincerely JD McCune

Outstanding customer service. I met with the owner Ron and found him to be a good ole honest cowboy. Ron was very professional and upfront about everything his company would do. His quote was right on target and his crew showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up their mess before they went home every night. My wife came home from work while they were working and a worker stopped her from driving in the driveway so she could park in our garage until they walked the pathway ensuring there was no nails lying around that would damage her tires. After the work was completed Ron contacted me to ensure I was happy before the final payment was asked for. They just finished work yesterday and I have already recommended them twice to friends. I would definitely use them again!!!
