B AND B MAINTENANCE REPAIR

Back in early February 2016 I contacted Clyde "Buddy" Bender to fix this leak. He had done other plumbing work for me including installing an RO system and connecting it to my refrigerator icemaker. For this new job he proceeded to rip out and install new pipe (PVC) on the outside of the house facing east (lots of morning sun) and a couple of new valves for turning on and off. It lasted until April when the first leak occurred. He came out to fix it and said that the valve must have been faulty. He replaced the valve and wanted to charge me. I told him the price should be free as the work should have been warranted at least for that short time. I did not pay him any more money. His initial cost was $382.75. In June another valve leaked. I called another handyman who was recommended to me. He replaced that valve with another and attached it with a copper fitting. He said that PVC should never be used on the outside of a house exposed to sunlight. We were gone during the month of July and IT LEAKED IN ANOTHER PLACE!! My neighbor kept me informed and turned the water off at the meter except when the sprinkler timer was on. I returned the end of July and contacted a licensed plumber. He completely replaced all the PVC with copper and installed a pressure reducer valve. His charge was only $20 more than Buddy originally charged me and it's guaranteed not to leak. Please don't let Buddy work on any plumbing in your house as he doesn't seem to know what he's doing and uses the cheapest material available.

He knew the problem and bought and brought the right fixture to replace the original one.

He did a wonderful job, and I am very pleased.  He really knows what he's doing.

He is very good and I use him all the time. He does everything including plumbing, electrical and painting. I will use him again in the future.
