C and K Painting and Roofing had told us we had a rotten patio roof after they had painted the exterior trim of my house. They quoted a price of $2900 which I thought was extremely high for the size of my patio roof. I looked online and found a lot of good reports about AVC, so called and left a message for Tim. He phoned back almost immediately and was out the next day to access the roof. He explained to me that the roof was fine and in need of no repair and showed me how a person of size could stand in one spot and make it appear that your roof was rotten. He did say he could put a sealing, reflecting coating over the patio, because to my knowledge, the patio roof was original to the house - which was built in 1968. Tim is an outstanding guy, explains everything extremely plainly and is an honest roofer. We hired him and he and his crew showed up the next day and did a fantastic job. Even cleaned up every last bit of debris and repaired a couple of spots that C & K roofing had left around the patio - even had matching paint!
