"Ther dishwasher install was hampered by the new countertop. Even after the countertop was adjusted the dishwashed did not fit properly. Client had other workers put shims under the dishwasher and the stove as the countertop left gaps. Moving the dishwasher to install shims caused the copper supply line to crimp, resulting in a leak. This client has been having us service her equipment for 12 years. Interesting that no remarks were made during all those years. However, remodeling can be trying, and this job had a far share of problems. Our appointment to start was delayed three different times due to other contractors delays. As to the leak repair; the install was not leaking until the dishwasher was moved by other workers. No where in our agreement did we promise weekend service to repair leaks cased by other workers. We repaired this leak at no charge even though it was caused by others. As to the remark that we are plumbers not appliance installers. This comment was made when the client asked us to install shims under the stove."
