I had used these guys for years when Chuck was still the owner, ever since ownership changed, they’ve done downhill. They replaced a fan for me in April and then came out to replace the condenser and compressor in July, and when they did, they also hauled off the fan I just bought that still had 9 months of warranty on it, and charged me for the new fan. I called them/emailed them for two months trying to get answers, only to get the runaround everytime “Soencer isn’t in, he’ll email you back, he’ll call you right back, etc.” without follow up. They also left my fan set to “On” instead of “Auto” it took me two months to realize why my electric bill was over 600 dollars, because my fan was constantly running for the entirety of that time.

Aloha came recommended by a friend six years ago. They have been prompt calling the morning of appointment to confirm the arrival time. Testing for a leak is a service costing about $200+. When it was determined that the problem was not a leak, they charged a service call rather than the higher price and gave me a bid for the repair work. I am satisfied with their service.

They seemed competent. They were very friendly and efficient. They came quickly and tried to clean up afterward. They explained everything very well and they even drew a diagram of what the problem was. They took videos on their phone of the dripping and what was going on in the attic since we couldn't go up there and see, they showed it go us. Quality was good. I did after the fact look up to see if they were bonded and insured and I didn't see anything about that so that is the only thing that I might have to search more providers. We called the insurance company and they referred us to a restoration company who referred us to them. So that is how we ended up using them but I looked them up on Angie's List. I didn't see bonded and insured on Angie's List either.

They are a pretty good company. They are prompt and remind me when I need service. Most importantly they don't overcharge me.

They were alright. They were unresponsive. They didn’t pick up the phone throughout when I needed them. I would never use them in the future because of their non responsiveness.

Overall the job went well. They actually give you a time frame and he came earlier than I expected which is great. The guy was very friendly. They were very expensive though, that’s the only problem. I would use their services again in the future.

Chuck called us back the same day we called and left a message. He offered to come by that same day (a Saturday!). Unfortunately, we were unavailable so we re-scheduled for later in the week. He was VERY honest. We asked him if he thought we needed a new unit (something he could have easily taken advantage with our lack of knowledge), and his response was that if he could make that kind of prediction, he'd make a lot of money in this industry. He did recommend we consider if we have to replace the start kit again this year (3rd time in 4 years we've had to replace this part), we do make that consideration, but not jump into any major investments if we don't have to. So for the time being we were good to go. Chuck was polite, courteous, and very friendly. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
