Couldn't have gone smoother. After they left we wished we'd have remembered another electrical job we wanted done.

My experience with AKC Electric couldn't have been more positive. Keith and his son Ricky installed 4 ceiling fans, a dedicated 35W outlet in the garage, under cabinet LED lighting, over cabinet LED lighting, and all the dimmer switches in the kitchen expertly and efficiently. Prior to choosing AKC, I got 3 estimates. One was sky high, and the other was actually a few bucks less than AKC's estimate. But the reason I chose AKC over the other two was not the money, but the technician Keith. After talking with him, asking him questions, listening to his suggestions on how to efficiently and most inexpensively wire the LED lighting (that included 2 interrupted spaces), you just knew Keith was experienced and really understood electrical wiring. The two other guys didn't come off half as smart, had no suggestions on which LED strip lighting to choose, suggested way more complicated wiring that would have gone through the ceiling, blah, blah, blah. Keith was just smarter, hands down; definitely more ethical than at least one of the other guys, and very reasonable. He is exactly the kind of electrician everyone wants --- someone you can trust that he knows what he's doing, is ethical in that he will suggest the most economical way that is up to code, and is very reasonable.

Keith and his son showed up promptly at 8 am and worked diligently to complete the work in about 5 and 1/2 hours, which was about the time he had estimated it would take.  I had received 2 another bids for the same work ( from Lamps Plus and Simple Electric) that were about $1000 more expensive.   Keith did the work for less money and I felt the quality of his work was excellent.  I would not hesitate to use him in the future.

Totally satisfied. Lights are just what we were looking for and dealing with Keith was great. Would recommend and will use again.

Keith was great!  He was able to work me into his busy schedule within 24 hours of my call, awesome!  Super friendly, did a great job, and was willing to show me exactly how he diagnosed and fixed the issues.  I would definately recommend and hire again.

They were nice, and did a good job

I did call them and tell them one of the can lights was blinking a little, they checked with the manufacturer and they said that was something on the manufacturer's end. The manufacturer said to leave the light on all day to fix it, but that didn't work. It's not really a big deal, I just figured I'd mention it.

Kieth was very helpful and responsive.  I called him at the last minute to fit me in before I went out of town and He worked it out.  He solved my  electrical issue.  Very professional and prompt.

AKC called ahead to discuss what the offer included and asked what I was expecting. I wanted more light in my sewing room. He suggested a different type of light with a small upgrade in price to get me the light I wanted. They confirmed the appointment the night before, and showed up on time. They consulted me on the layout in the room, made helpful suggestions on placement to get the best light coverage and set to work. They finished quickly and cleaned up after themselves. It was great. I love my new lights!

Keith and his son arrived on time.  We discussed placement of the cans, and he offered placement suggestions.  They went right to work and were done in an hour.

AKC Electric was prompt, professional, friendly and completed the work effeciently. The primary reason I called them was to replace a bathroom fan. This wasn't an easy installation due to the age and configuration of the old bathroom fan. The new fan did not fit. AKC resolved the problem by reconfiguring the new motor to fit into the old fan box. They also installed a ceiling light fixture and rewired a lamp. I was very pleased with their work, felt comfortable with them in my home and will call them for future work.

We contacted Keith quickly once we bought the deal. It was right before the holiday weekend and he was great about texting to tell us he was out of town and would contact us on return - which he did.
He set up the appointment with an arrival window of 30 minutes (imagine - someone that doesn't say "uh, how about sometime between 7 and noon LOL) and was on-time. Right there, he deserves an A+.
He came in and assessed what needed to be done.  He ran the wiring to an unused light switch and mounted the ceiling fan we had purchased on a downrod - that is important to note as he mounted it and it does not shimmy.  Great installation job.  He then fixed the wiring for the Christmas lights in the garage.  Finally, we can easily control those lights.
We probably could have added something else in there but we honestly didn't need anything else done.
Keith cleaned up and did a professional job. On-time. Polite. I would easily recommend him for his services and will keep him in mind should we need any future electrical work.
