Action Lock & Key

 I would use Steves service again without a thought of calling another company. He has changed the locks at my home and my business at least 3 times. I have 18 locks to change and he does quality work  and does not waste time. When I call him  he is usually out  that day or the next morming. He has no problem answering my questions, is polite and respectful and I am always pleased with his work. I would absolutely recommend Steve with Action Lock with complete confidence you will as pleased as I ha.ve been.

All in all Steve was professional, thorough and prompt in his work. His charge was reasonable. I would calll upon this company again.

He did not show up prepared to do battle properly. He only installed one Trilogy DL-1300 lock and got it functioning. He left 4 big screw holes in the door and did not reinstall our push bar. He put some chrome colored pieces of metal on the inside of the brown door to cover two existing holes. It looks amateurish and unacceptable. The sharp edges on his custom pieces were so sharp that one employee got a large cut on their hand. He told me he would show up the next week unless he had jury duty. I placed calls and left messages for over a week to find out when he was coming back. When I finally got a hold of him two weeks later, he then scheduled an appointment for Monday or Tuesday to finish the second door install. No show, no call, and he was unreachable until Wednesday June 30th. First visit was June 9th, that is 3 weeks and he still has not come back. He says he had a death in the family, and I am very sorry to hear that. However, not one phone call to me in three weeks is absolutely unacceptable under any circumstance. I would recommend not using this service provider at all for anything. He needs to start treating his business like a business.

I first called another company on Angie's List, one with the most positive reviews, but the owner cut me off abruptly on the phone saying he didn't work on "storm doors" and refused to let me tell him what kind of door this was. I called Steve who told me he could fix this easily. He was here 2 days later and did an excellent job, working quickly and professionally. We'll definitely call him again.

I called Steven, desperately looking for a locksmith that could respond to my need on short notice. We were evicting a tenant and we needed him to meet the police officer and the property manager at a specified time. He and the police arrived on time, but the property manager was late. Steven ended up having to do a bit more work than requested due to the property manager not being there with the old key to get in. He called me to confirm that the work was performed but the property manager did not show, he waited a few more minutes till someone showed to pay him. He really helped us out in a pinch. I would recommend him to anyone.

Steven with Action Lock and Key was great. I called him and he worked us into his schedule within just a few days. His prices were very fair. He arrived on time and completed the job VERY quickly. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

I called Action Lock & Key on a Thursday I told them the problem (it was not an emergency). Steve told me that he could get out on Monday. Although it was not an emergency, I did want to have the work done the next day. I told Steve that I would call someone else, but thanked him for his time. He immediately reworked his schedule and was able to fit me in the next day. He was here when he said he would be and he did a great job. He even fixed another thing on the lock that I was not aware was wrong, and didn't charge me!

Great experience working with Steve. Called on Wednesday afternoon and he was there the next morning. Was fast, friendly and did not disrupt my office. Very fair price.

Steve was very nice, very accommodating, and he waited for me at the house even when we got our times crossed. He did the work very quickly and cleanly, and he was a very nice person. Would definitely use him again, though I hope to not need to for the same reason!
